Looking for current feedback on these 3.
Considering Paradise Pier but further and not sure worth the $

Anabella is further than PPH. But I would stay there. (It's killing me that they are closing and acting like their new mega resort will be good) It's currently a lovely slice of old style California imo. But they close mid August.

Camelot and Fairfield are right across the street. Shorter walk for naps and at the end of the day.

My brother likes the Fairfield. He has stayed there multiple times. We tried it once. Nothing special but nothing stood out as bad either.

We have stayed at the Paradise Pier and Fairfield. Both are the same distance to the park gates (just from different directions). In terms of shear cost, Fairfield or Camelot. As noted above Anabella is closing soon.

While PP is a Disney property, there was nothing special about the hotel at all, it is just about double in price everything else. Yes you can say you are in the bubble of Disney, but the DLH and GCH are much nicer (but way more expensive)

Fairfield is a basically a 9 story motel, all rooms are accessed from the outside of the building, and you can hear as people pass by on the way to the park. It is nothing special, it is just a space to lay your head at night and get some shut-eye.

Gosh, it depends on what you are looking for--I like the Anabella and I am bummed they are closing. I like the Disney bubble and I experience this when I stay at the Anabella--just walk up Disney way; of course, you would also get this at PP. I've also stayed at the Fairfield and it was fine though I prefer the Anabella (I don't like that walk up Harbour at all)--much nicer pools, bars, restaurant and I just like it better overall even though it is a motel. I think if the costs are relatively close, I would consider PP as it on site and you get the on site perks of mm at DCA. I think Camelot and FF are probably similar, though Camelot is a little closer.

Does Annabella have indoor corridor?
I don't need disney bubble. I have done that enough at wdw.
I want clean and safe feeling esp since I won't have my husband with us.

It doesn't have indoor corridors--you enter directly from the outside parking lot like a motel. It feels clean and safe and I much prefer walking down Disney Way than Harbor as far as a sense of safety and cleanliness overall.

is there enough foot traffic that I will feel safe to and from Camelot without husband

Yes, I frequently walk it and have never felt nervous. My preference would be Fairfield, then Anabella, and finally Camelot, simply my preference based on bedding.

My DD and I always stay at Fairfield. Haven't ever had issues walking back at night. Be aware of surroundings as you would anywhere at night.

How about the Candy Cane Inn, they offer a shuttle for free, but is super walkable. FFI, was originally for a Ramada Inn, it's just a basic motel room, with a little Marriott cover thrown over. The pool is in the parking lot and barely hidden.... nothing special for their price tag. Candy Cane offer's AAA discount also.

Absolutely! It's right across the street from the Disneyland crosswalk. It's always people populated in that area. I'm 34 and often get mistaken for being 18 and for over 10 years I have always felt very safe going to and from the park to the Tropicana on my own which is right next door to the Camelot. I've never personally stayed at the Camelot but I have heard that it's basic but very decent. I'd actually try it out myself one day if the price was reasonable because of the location.
