Camelback bag troubles??

We are thinking of taking our CamelBack backpack as our carryone bag/diaper bag and the bag we take into the parks. The only thing that makes me wonder...are we going to run into any problems with the fact that it has a lot of loose straps on it (since it's made for hiking/biking)?? Specifically I'm wondering about on the plane (not sure why, but thought I'd ask....and we WON'T have the water part in it), or on any of the rides where we'll have to leave the stroller and take our bags with us?? The only rides we'll have to wear the backpack on are the ones where all of us, baby included, can go on.

Sorry if this is a dumb question...just want to make sure before I get all packed!

You shouldn't have a problem at the airport or on the plane. I took mine as a just a backpack when i went with a friend and no kids. Just put it on the conveyor , I also used the little loop on the bottom of my bag to hold my sweatshirt. I am not for sure which version you guys own , but we have a cloudwalker and we just wrap the straps around the bag or tighten them up and use a hair buffy (elastic, the clear ones work really good ) to take up the slack. Our bag has a sternum strap and a waist strap so the waist strap we just hook together and wrap it around the front below the lower pocket , sternum strap we wrap around the back and just make sure it is tightened to the side a bit so the buckle doesnt become a problem. As for the straps on the individual pockets on each side we just adjust them as needed. When we would go on a ride as we were loading i would sling it to one side and then just hold onto it while on the ride. sometimes we just left it in the stroller for rides like rock n roller coaster and space mountain. When we went on Tower of terror I just wore it on the front of me. I love camel backs we took 2 on our last trip, the only downside was having to open all the zippers when going through security , but it was totally worth it to have our water with us as we were able to drink as we walked to the next ride. HTH

Dw always takes her CB on trips all the time on the rides and all with no problem.

We pack the water part in our checked luggage to use while at the parks and have never had a problem at all.
