Having tons of trouble trying to post, so here goes again...
Hello! We just got back yesterday from our 7 day trip with the little ones. We had a great time! I am going to do a trip report, but I thought I would post some reviews in the appropriate places. And if you have any questions, just ask!
We rented a crib from www.abbf.com (A Baby's Best Friend). After we took everything out of the box, it really did only take ten minutes - or less - to get the crib put together. The package was there when we arrived and we arrived earlier than our scheduled time. It was also just as easy to take down when we left and repack. The bellman delivered it back to the luggage room for us. I would definitely recommend them. I feel like my daughter slept much better being in that instead of a pack n play.
We also ordered many baby supplies and baby food from www.babiestravellite.com. There is a convenience charge, but I feel like it was well worth it to not have to pack all her things and have them at the hotel when we arrived. Those boxes also were already there upon arrival and were delivered promptly to our room. Some items were things that we cannot buy in our area, so we saved them and brought them home with us. Most other items were disposable. They have these bundles like the bathtime and mealtime bundles where you can get everything you need in one package and they were lifesavers for us! We still did a grocery run for snacks and bottled water, but it saved us from having to buy a million jars of baby food, baby juice, etc...
We brought our own stroller and it worked very well for us. We also brought a Snugli carrier. The plan was for us to put her in the Snugli when we were waiting in line for rides. Well, we planned so well from these boards that we never were in line longer than ten minutes most times and the longest wait we had was 15 minutes! So that part wasn't worth putting her in it. Then, the flipside to that was Epcot. I didn't feel like that place was very stroller friendly at all. Every pavillion made us park outside. Then, in each place there was too much to do and she didn't want to stay that long in the carrier. (I read that nasty thread about strollers in the Land, so please let's not get into that.) But, we ended up having to carry her and it wore us out a lot faster, so we ended up going back to the hotel for a nap and not returning for the afternoon. For four of the days, we did rent a park stroller for my 4 yr old son and that worked out very well.
We were able to take our baby on almost every ride we went on and she did well on every single ride!
We had a great time and if I had to do it all over again, I would definitely return with my kids at this age. The memories are priceless!
