HI all,
After a bit of advice - i have a Sony CRD-TRV238E (Digi8) that allows me to reduce the shutter speed when filming to increase brightness in the dark - ideal for fireworks. What's the best speed to choose?

Presumably the frames per second would be reduced as a result - i'm thinking just a minor adjustment to 1/3 to ensure a little extra brightness and a near-standard frame rate?

Just flicked through the camcorder manual, it's got a sunset/sunrise function specifically designed for maintaining atmospheric lighting conditions. Quote the manual "Use this setting for landscapes and scenes where light may be low and colour is important to the recording, such as sunsets, dawn, fireworks and neon signs".
That may answer my own question, but if anyone has any better experience than me of it I'd appreciate it!
