Cam & Howard's Vow Renewal PJ -1/12/09 - WP&WH--p.98: TRIP REPORT BEGINS

The garter is gorgeous Cam!!
The little charms could be used in a scrapbook too :)

Thank you, everyone! Tracey, if I scrapped, that would be such a great idea, but alas. .... Hmmmm .... maybe they'll end up on a photo album attached to a ribbon book marker, maybe?

2 good things accomplished today. The newsletters are mailed. :yay: AND all of our ADRs are booked (this is just for the "honeymoon" part of our trip). Everything up through the marathon is already scheduled.
And our rehearsal dinner is at Ohana on Sunday before our dessert party
Monday is all of the wedding related stuff, and even though the reception is over at 4, we don't want to make any plans for dinner. It may just be a room-service night. ;)

Tuesday (day after wedding): dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby
Wednesday (checking out of GF and into Wilderness Lodge Villas): lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Thursday: dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table at 6:55 (WISHES is at 8! )
Friday: Brunch at Tusker House; late dinner at Coral Reef
Saturday: Brunch at Ohana; dinner at California Grill (our ADR is 7:20 and WISHES is at 8! )
Sunday (after checking out): lunch at Wolfgang Puck Cafe

What do you think?

Yay for ADRs! Is it just me or is that one of the more exciting parts of planning? Once you know your planning is "etched in stone", you can give yourself a pat on the back and smile. And go back to dreaming about your trip!

Congrats on getting the newsletters out!! The ADR's sound great, Dinner at CRt to watch Wishes? Sounds wonderful!!

Wow Cam your on fire with all the planning :)
The ADR's look great :)

congrats on getting your newsletters out! and your ADR sound WONDERFUL! :goodvibes

Thanks, everyone! It is always kind of hard to make ADRs when you aren't certain which park you want to be in on any given day, and you have no idea of the weather forcast. So, we instead figured we'd decide on parks based on the ADRs and we aren't committed to being in any one park all day on any day. Our plan was to try some new restaurants this trip. We've never been to Ohana's brunch, Hollywood Brown Derby, Cinderella's Royal Table, Tusker House, Coral Reef or California Grill. I've been to Wolfgang Puck, but Howard hasn't. I've been running everything I can through our Disney Visa and we'll use points to pay for most, if not all, of our table service meals. We also have the DDE card, so we get a 20% discount on all table service meals. :woohoo:

My plan for the honeymoon is to spend lots of quality time with Howard, sleep in every morning, and eat ONLY non-"dress-friendly" food. :lmao:

Cam, the pink on black will look fabulous!! You WDW Brides make me jealous! I wish DL did ADR's. Just Priority Seating which isn't really even a reservation!

oohh you'll love CG :)
not done any of the others but we're trying tusker house & ohana's for b/fast next week :)

We have been pretty productive this week, and I'm thrilled with how everything has turned out. Howard and I finished up the newsletter earlier this week and mailed it on Friday. This is how it turned out:

Then, my friend Marie came Friday and we finished preparing the "shoelaces" for the dessert party invitations and did all the "hugs & kisses" hearts:

Yesterday, we worked on the vow renewal invitation, but we still can't figure out the wording precisely, so we are thinking about that for a while before we finish them.
Instead, we finished up the designs for the welcome bags. Once we put the logo near the green paper, we realized the "K" didn't show up as well, so I decided we should add pink ribbon. We had fun at Michael's choosing about 8 different shades to find which one would pick up the K and not clash with the shopping bag, PLUS I have discovered the wonder of glue dots. LOL!

Now the outside of the bags are done except for the ribbon-tied tag that will list the guest name, arrival date and reservation number (Here is Marie protesting about me taking her picture! )

Last night, I finished formatting the wrappers for the mini candy bars and then had the idea to print them on labels so I didn't have to tape them around the candy bars (you can see on the castle one that the tape doesn't look great). There are 2 designs, that mimic our dessert party invitation graphic and our vow renewal invitation graphic and both carry our vow renewal weekend theme "All of Our WISHES Have Come True".

wow the news letters look great.. i love the hugs and kisses ..lol and the bags wow great job... with the wrappers i think the label one looks better i see what u mean with the tape on the ohter.

Cam - everything looks wonderful. The colors of pink and green look great together. The little candy bars are so cute too.

Everything looks great Cam!!

When I did the candy bar wrappers, I just used this envelopen moistener, and it sealed it right up, like glue! easier than taping, and you can just use regular paper.
