Cam & Howard - How'd it go?

For anyone who was at WDW this weekend, did you see Cam & Howard? How did the vow renewal go? I haven't seen any posts from them, so I'm sure they are enjoying their "honeymoon".

I think that they are in WDW through Saturday. I can't wait to hear all about it! Cam looked great on the Half course with her veil!

I know that Cam and Howard will want to post themselves with all of the details but I can tell you that the VR was amazing! It was a truly beautiful event and they outdid themselves in every way. They are indeed at WDW for the rest of the week and enjoying lots of fun and relaxation that they certainly deserve!

Ditto what Rhonda said.. everything was just perfect! Cam & Howard just left my room after looking through the 7 million pictures I took.. LOL!!! they look so happy.. . And teri.. you are a class act.. the basket you sent to them was absolutely beautiful!!! AND you were missed terribly at the starting line! We had to take our traditional corral pic without you.. there is talk of photoshopping you in! Hope to see you soon!!

We were at Jellyrolls the night Howard requested a song for Cam. It took me a while and then I realized, hey they are WISHers! LOL! I got to say hi to them before the half when I saw them again.

Hope the VR was just amazing!

LOL! Diane!! I cannot believe we did not run into each other in the parks this year like we usually do.. apparently my mojo was off this year!! LOL!! I know Cam & Howard are flying home today as well... so.. hence the delay in reporting... I have about 6 million pics of them as well.. but the bride gets right of first refusal as to what gets posted! LOL!!! Although I believe she looks absolutely GORGEOUS in every single picture!!!

And TERI.. YAY!!!! the corral will be whole again next year!!! Denny.. we won't have to photoshop her in next year!!!!

I hope we can get to see each other before then though seeing as how we really live pretty close... we should do a Delware gathering with Cam & Howard! YAHOOOO!!!

Teri~ Hi! Thank you for the wonderful and thoughtful surprise gift you sent to us for our vow renewal. It was wonderful and greatly appreciated. I unpacked the Mickey Goblets tonight and they are in our kitchen at the moment as are many of the goodies that didn't get consumed in our villa.

As Kathy mentioned, we got home last night from MCO into PHL. The flight was great, no delays, etc. We arrived to a snow covered car and icy roads (I-95 in Delaware was closed when we hit the state line! ).

There are probably thousands of photos for us to look at, sift through and post. I'll leave that up to Cam to orchestrate. She'll probably give out photobucket info to friends who want to check them out (or something similar).

The 5K, Half Marathon and Marathon were good times... (the Marathon was a bear, but that's a whole other story). The carb-loading party, dessert party, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, photos, vow renewal ceremony and reception were nothing short of spectacular. It was probably the most fun we've ever had in a day as a couple (or before).

Cam looked absolutely radiant in her gown, beaming from within and beautiful as usual. I am such a lucky guy.

Once everyone went home (DD, DS, Mom, Sister and Hub-In-Law), our honeymoon really began. It was fun, relaxing (for the most part) and special as you would expect. It was great to see Kathy a few times during the week and running into Krista, Stephen and Carter too!

IT was really great to see everyone and to meet some new WISHers this trip.

Terri -- I am so sorry that we neglected to acknowledge your sweet and generous gift before now. What a wonderful surprise it was to have someone knock on our door and deliver that GORGEOUS gift -- the wine is our absolute favorite kind!! And all of the food items were wonderful. I am so happy to have the Mickey wine glasses and the beautiful Mickey ribbon as keepsakes (the ribbon is going in my scrapbook). We missed you at marathon weekend, sweetie, but your kindness reminded us you were with us in spirit.

Allyson - Wasn't Jellyrolls great that night? We'd been up since 3 a.m. and had had less than 3 hours sleep before that, but couldn't stand the thought of missing JR. There were a BUNCH of WISHers there. I wish you'd come and said "hi" even if I seemed zombie-ish.

Diane -- you truly touched my heart with your sweet card. I can't believe you had the presence of mind to have it with you to give us at the finish -- you are so organized and thoughtful!! It was the first time I'd seen that one and it was beautiful! Thank you so much for your kindness! And, your "wish" is my command -- I will post pix, even if it seems like I am being vain. LOL!

One thing that really jumps out at me from the pictures is this -- when I joined the WISH team in early 2005, I was looking for support as I endeavored to get healthy and fit after my 4th heart surgery. I never expected to find a new family and the dearest friends I could have ever hoped to discover. I am so blessed.

So, enough of the mushy stuff and on to the pictures!
