Calls??

Since buying into DVC May 2009 I get numerous phone calls a month asking if I want to sell my DVC. These phone calls are really getting annoying. I also think it's crap that our phone number (which is an unpublished number, I'm in law enforcement) is published with the rest of our information regarding our purchase. Anyone else getting these phone calls as often as me?

I pulled up all documents recorded with Orange County FL for our purchases, and our phone number is no where on any of them.

I didn't know you could do that, so I just did it lol. I know that the second or third person I spoke to I asked where did you get my information and she said it was a matter of public record when our deed was filed. I don't know, it's still annoying.

I just got a call from a call center in the 407 area code telling me that I have a balance on my account that can be used to book a vacation in Orlando.

The only companies who have my phone number from Florida are Disney and the Alamo rental car company. Someone sold my number.

That's the conclusion that my husband and I came up with regarding our problem.
