calling wdw-fest...goes to normal dining?

Is that right? I thought it went straight to just F&W ressies? I'm on hold right now with regular dining....

Same here too! I panicked because I kept getting "all circuits busy" when I first called. It took me until 7:05 am until I actually reached the menu list. Why in the world do you make you go through the same questions for dining that they ask when you call CRO (have you been to WDW within the last four years, etc.)?

Somebody post when you finally get through to a live reservation agent. I'd like to know how long a wait I am in for!

Same here - after calling for 15 minutes I finally got through to WDW-Dine (by way of WDW-FEST). Maybe they're helping with reservations for the F&WF because of the high call volume this morning?????

I finished my reservations with them by about 7:12. Got a cooking school on 11/3 and a Sweet Sundays on 11/6.

I got through after 9 minutes on hold, got my Party for the Senses booked!

Been on hold for 19 minutes now. I am sure the Signmature Dinner I want is already sold out.

If you're on hold, don't hang up if you can--the CM who just helped me said there were 1300 guests in the que (spelling?) She said many things would be sold out by noon--but right now there's still a lot of availability.

Started trying at 7am - all circuits busy. got Disney Dining (calling FEST) at 7:15, on hold until 7:25. Got Party for the Senses 11/5 .
The person I spoke with had a VERY strong accent and was very difficult to understand. I hope we got it all right!

I called several times just before 7 AM Eastern, and, of course, I got the "closed" message. I dialed right at 7 AM, punched in the answers to the dining questions (kicking myself that I hadn't written down the sequence of answers). Yay! I was on hold.

I dialed another phone, so that I would be on hold an another line (in case the first line dropped). I kept redialing but I got was the "all circuits are busy" message.

A CM answered my first line at 7:06 AM. I booked 5 events. The CM followed the script carefully, reading the text about the cancellation policy, the dress code, allowing walk time, and so on. Each time I had to give my credit card number. I was done by 7:18 AM.

The confirmation numbers are incrementing quickly this morning! The Between my first number and my final number, there are 549 other confirmation numbers!

I finally got through - 15 minutes of continuous dialing, 10 minutes on hold, and about 10 minutes for her to get all of my info. I started dialing at exactly 7 AM and was automatically transfered to WDW-DINE. Hard to understand her but I think (LOL) that I reserved Party for the Senses on 10/22!

OMG..lol, and the saga continues. I was on hold with my home and cell phone, had been routed through regular dining. They answered on my cell, I pressed the wrong button and disconnected the guy. Had already turned off the home phone..when this guy answered..lol. Redialed both of them back and a food/wine fest person answered immediately...got everything we wanted, for us and our friends.

Brewers dinner, two signature dinners, a sweet sunday, two lunch/learns and two party for the senses. We are going to go up three times..yippee..this is going to be fun.

Hope you all get what you want.

By the way..my hubby was on hold, the entire time I was having "phone issues"..lol and he never got anyone to pick up. Same with the hubby of the other couple we are going with. He was on hold the entire time and no one ever answered. Very wierd.
