calling too much mess up reservation?

has anyone ever had this problem? I have a feeling after calling for about the 80th time that when I get to the resort everything I asked for isn't going to be in the system?

I just spoke to a CM and she said she didn't find any of our previous requests!!!

I'm getting nervous...maybe I should fax the resort a few days before we leave?
 
OH YEAH!!!! This happened to me. Everytime I called it was a mess. At one point, I had to be put through to Guest Services just to find my reservation. I hope it all works out for you!
 
Sometimes their mistake can work in your benefit. This March I was forced to move our Dolphin ressies with 2 rooms at the Teacher's rate back a week due to a schedule change at my college. They accidently bumped me to August. To correct it, they ended up moving us to Swan for our new week, at the Dolphin rate, $10 per night per room less than Swan was going for. Write down the confirmation numbers and keep on top of them. I'm already on my 4th change for our Jan. trip.

my gosh, now im really worried. im going to call one more time the week before the trip to finalize everything. i have all the reservation #'s handy...

Made our ressie in Aug, have called maybe 5 times since (enter room requests, add extra night, check to see if I could get the extra night at less expensive rate).. nothing I didn't think out of the ordinary. Today I get a modified confirmation in the mail ... they had changed our 5 night holiday to 2 nights!! YIKES!!

Called and it was true, 3 nights has been totally cancelled somehow. Weird. Thank goodness the cm's I spoke to were very helpful and were able to change everything back to how it should have been. But now am paranoid and will call every couple of nights to confirm.

Well all I have to say is the more you call to make changes, the chances are greater that something may go wrong.
 
I reserved room for April almost a month ago now, when the new code for spring came out. I have yet to receive my hard copy of the ressie. I called again Sunday (like the third time) and told them this, had to specifically ask them to resend the confirmation papers. This is too weird. For our trip last month it seemed like every time I called them they resent the hard copies. Then when we arrived at WL they still had my original room request in the system there! Luckily we got our real request, upper floor main courtyard. I just haunt the mailbox now. I finally had to tell the girls about this trip because they thought Mom had lost it, I refused to let them go to the mailbox :tongue: :tongue:
 
I bet I made 20 changed to our ressies this past trip. One day alone I got 8 account statements in the mail. Just keep track of your numbers, take the paper work with you, and everything should be fine. To be sure, I would call once everything is set just to check.

Ours went off without a hitch.
