Does anyone ask if there are any codes attached to your name when calling to make res at Disney? What is the best way to ask to get them to check or can they check? I have seen some posts about Christmas codes coming out, but I haven't received a code for a while, so I don't think I am going to be one of those lucky ones:)TIA!

We did a couple years ago. I just called and asked if they could tell me if there was a PIN or other discount available to us. The CM was very polite and knew exactly what I was asking.
We were totally unsure of booking but if there was a better discount, that might convince us to go. Well, ..there was a PIN, which was cool! And we used it, which was double-cool!:banana:
So try it out, ya never know!

when I called last year to book our Sept. vacation, I had a code sent to my email, but they asked me my name and told me I had a free dining code available and I didn't have to give them the number on the email so they must have a data base of who got what code. I would just call and ask do I have any discount codes available to me for x dates?

So were you able to apply both codes, or did you have to choose between the two?

You only get to pick 1 code....you have to do the Disney Math to figure out what is a better deal for your family. For instance, since we like to stay Deluxe, the room rate codes work out better for us than say free dining. But if you stay in Value, free dining might be a better deal.

Make sure you watch DIS and other Disney websites because frankly they are giving out just as good of deals to the general public than they are with the pins (right now there are several general public deals going...including a 40% off offer that we used the other day)

We have called before and gotten a pin that we didn't know about. Last year, actually. :goodvibes

Great! I made res today and the CM didn't seem to know what I was talking about, so I think I might check back in a day or two.
