Calling to check for cancellations question

When calling to check for cancellations for Cindy's, should I ask for each day individually or ask for any day between ___ and ___? Yesterday I called and asked for any day Aug. 6 - 10 and also any day Oct. 10 - 16. The CM said there was nothing any of those days, but she said it pretty quickly and I wondered if their screen shows more than one day or not? I know she didn't have time to check each day individually. In the past I've asked for each individual day and it took awhile for them to check each one. Does anyone know?
 
I don't know how they check, but I usually ask for only one day at a time. It takes a minute or two, so I'm guessing when I call they're looking one day at a time, but can't say for sure.
 
My advice is to take one day at a time and be as flexible as possible with the time frame.
As one who has cancelled a PS the day before, they just aren't going to know much past a 24 hour period-thus the quick "no".

I don't know for sure, but I would ask for each day separately -- I don't trust anybody to put in the effort if not required :rolleyes: when it is something important to and not so important to them.

I would ask, "Anything for the 6th?"
"Oh no" act disappointed, "oh, well then, how about the 7th?"
"Oh, no, well I know it's a long shot, but how about the 8th?"
"Hmmm. Could you please check the 9th? I'm sorry just a few more dates, and my little ones will be sooo happy if I get lucky. Thanks so much for checking..."

That's how I would do it...and have done it :p

If they could see more than one day, they would stop you after the second of third date and say, "My screen is showing nothing at all for the whole week of X" Nobody has ever said that to me so my guess is they can only view one day at a time.

Keep checking and checking and checking. I got a PS for CRT on a whim tonight. I just hit it right when there was a cancellation.
