Hi all

Just wondering what you have found is the best way to call and book ADRS?
Should I add credit to my skype account and use that or just ring from my mobile?

For WDW I did it easily all on-line on the website but earlier when I had to ring about my account, I just rang from our netphone (so cheaper than our landline). I did have to wait a while so depends on what ever is your cheapest method to ring international. If you have a deal with your phone co for discount international calls then that's an option. I have heard that Viber is a better alternative to Skype that is also free if you don't want visuals but I haven't used it personally.

I will have to call in a few days to book our Bibbidi bobbidi boutique visit, I have organised all of our ADRs online. I will just call from my home phone. Last trip I had to ring to book the first 10 days worth of ADRs because I was having trouble with the website. It was a longish phone all but only cost a few dollars.

Good luck:)

Thanks for the replies, sounds like it won't be super expensive to make the phone call, just want this as backup incase I have trouble booking my ADR's in 8 days :)

i don't know what your phone plan is. I am with Optus and I am not on any special plans but international phone calls cannot be called expensive - the last two calls I made to WDW, on my home phone, were 14 and 15 minutes each and cost 67 cents and 69 cents respectively.

My mobile is more expensive - 20 cents per minute - but again not excessive.

Maybe I am being a bit controversial - I suspect if someone can afford a WDW holiday, they can afford a couple of phone calls.

I just called from my mobile. I don't even know how much it was because it was still well and truly under my cap.

Gee harsh much, I've never called international so I had no idea on the cost. I was told that Skype was the best and cheapest way to call do I wanted to check if others agreed.

I use skype. A 17 min call to Disneyland cost 15c. Cheaper than my mobile and landline provider. Occasionally it is a little echoey but 95% of the time just fine. I use my iPad with 3G to booster my wifi if needed at any point. If you use your phone turn 3G off if you don't want to use data.

Thanks for that makes me feel better about using Skype if I need to, fingers crossed I can get all my ADR's online.
