Hi guys,

I have never done this before and would appreciate some help.

I have seen in some guidebooks (and here at the DIS) about calling your resort (Ours is the CRB) and asking for certain rooms, or even certain things about a room (ground floor, corner room, etc.)

We booked our trip through CAA and when I called them, they said everything was fine, our room was reserved...that's it.

When I called the resort, they transferred me to another number who then told me they couldn't help me since I booked through a TA.

What should I have said to the resort? Should I call back?

Any help is appreciated!

BTW- We are in the Jamaica building in a king room if this matters..

If you booked through a travel agent they will have to make the requests with Disney. The travel agency owns the reservation until you are standing at the counter checking in.

A king bed room costs extra at CBR. Have you paid for a king bed room? Your request for Jamaica is just a request. It isn't guaranteed. Your TA will take care of this for you.

Yep..the room was book as a King room and we paid extra for it.

Our original plan was to return to where we went on our honeymoon (which was Jamaica). Our TA thought of asking for Jamaica (which we both thought was cool).

Thanks for the info very much!!:wizard:

I will call my TA
