I'll be staying at OKW for the first time in April with DH, 2 kids and my parents, oh and my DS has a service dog. What building do you recommend? We want to be fairly close to the pool and Main bldg. but not hear the noise of it all. I don't care what our view is. I know nothing is guarenteed but I want to put in my request. Also do you think 1st or 2nd floor is better, we don't need an elevator...and we have a 2 bedroom suite booked

Thanks :thumbsup2

okw is pretty quiet. but the traffic can be bad near the HH (hospitality house)

would recommend building 23-26 - especially if you don't care about the view.

this stop is also the first bus stop.

like 2nd floor because the views are better. Again if you don't care about the views - lst floor. just be sure to ask for non-handicapped villa, unless you need one. those are on the first floor in all the building except for the few with an elevator.

here is a map

Beginning in January, "close to the Hospitality House and main pool" is a booking category. No extra points, but you'll need to request it.

As stated, OKW is a very quiet, relaxed place to stay. Even the main pool area does not get very loud.

We prefer to stay in the "Miller's Road" area. There is a quiet pool there which is empty most of the time (at least wearly in the morning when I tend to use it) and all of the rooms look out either on the pool area, or out to the golf course.

The bus stop is centrally located and is no more than a 3-5 minute walk from the farthest point. Miller's Rd. is the last stop before the HH. You can take any bus for a quick ride to the main pool. It's about an 8 minute walk back from the main pool area to the bus stop.

Great resort !!! Enjoy.
