Calling NH Dis'ers! Sales tax question

Usually when you order something from out of state, you don't pay sales tax on it when it's being shipped to NH. Does this hold true for WDW park tickets? I'm guessing not, because obviously they have to be used in FL? Just tiptoeing out on a limb, here!

i've purchased my wdw tickets from aaa in nh and did not pay tax on it. i don't know if it would be different if you order from somewhere outside the state and have it shipped.

Pretty sure you will not have to pay sales tax for tickets shipped to NH. However, have you considered buying them at the Disney Store as opposed to having them shipped? There is a store at most major malls around.

We just bought Passes from the Disney store and were charged the tax. Because the Entertainment is in Flordia.

Ohhhh, so it's an entertainment tax as opposed to a sales tax? That makes sense. No way around it, I guess!

Susan Wornick from channel 5 just did a thing on Buyer Beware about Disney tickets the other night. I think it may have been on New Years Eve, maybe the 5:00 or 5:30 news. Anyway she was saying since the tickets are actually used in Florida, when you buy them at a local store, you do not pay the MA sales tax on them, but the Florida tax, of 6.5%(I think thats how much it is). I would assume thats true for every state, but she was just mentioning MA.

I've bought AP vouchers and park hoppers at the Disney Store at the Mall of NH as well as through mail order direct from Disney. In all of these situations, I've had to pay the sales tax. Really kind of stinks when you aren't used to having a sales tax but I figure it gets me into practice for when I go to Florida!
