okay so my ipod works fine... I download songs, it plays them... In preparation for an upcoming roadtrip my husband was showing me a feature in his car... you can plug in my ipod and his car stereo, it reads the ipod and plays music. THis is where it gets weird.... The Car is reading really old CD's that I downloaded years ago onto my ipod (I thought I had lost these)---things I cannot access on my own....songs my computer can't access...the only way to hear these awesome old discs is to play it through my husband's car stereo... Even stranger is that the ipod is ONLY reading the old school songs and none of the songs I've recently downloaded.
So my question is two parts: I would like to be able to access these old songs somewhere else other than my husband's car---how do I find them?
TWO: How do I play my recent stuff in the car also---my regular ipod tunes?
If anyone could help me---that would be great..I've looked and looked online but nothing addresses this particular problem.
