Sorry everyone, this is one of those annoying questions that gets asked all the time! Could anyone please confirm that when I call home from Florida, I dial '01144' before the number? I live in Manchester so it would be 01144161... and so forth. Also, doesn't the +44 bit count for a zero? In which case, could I dial 0110161...? I know the answer to this deep down (somewhere!) but my mind's gone blank and now I'm all panicky. I've Googled it, but everyone says different things!
