we're starting to get really excited now we have our shore excursions booked, and the kids ( and us) are looking forward to the Trick or Treating and Palos brunch.

I'll try and post a bit more now we're closer to the big day and I know my DW and the kids have a few questions re costumes, and Treats etc.

This tanzanite thing has been around for a while. Actually, a friend of mine went on a Disney cruise in November, and her DH had bought her a tanzanite ring about two years earlier. Five or six people on the cruise chewed her out at different times on the ship for supporting terrorism. She was like, "PULEEZE!" It was actually pretty funny.

It doesn't look like our ship is full, so maybe it is just dinner. Hopefully that will change in the next six weeks. Maybe start a thread on here about how GREAT late seating is and then call back every day after that!

Did ya'll see the guy who got arrested in KW with 30 kilos of cocaine after he steps off the Magic. HUHLLO. YOU CAN DRIVE TO KW. What an idiot. I was wondering if his family was still on board or if he sailed alone.

We are headed to Chicago for a LONG girls weekend! Spa-ing, eating out, Riverdance, museums...all as the guests of a friend of ours who is like my UpNorth Mom. SHe takes her daughters, DILs and me. What a treat! Talk to ya'll after I return!

I have alerted my Fed Ex guy to the fact that I will be out of town, so he will have four whole days where he won't have to look over his shoulder!

KAREN: Have a great time in Chicago! What a neat lady to take all her "daughters" on such an excursion.

Webmaster Michelle told someone that documents can arrive anywere from 2- 5 weeks before departure. I am hoping for 5 weeks. We already know so much from these Boards, but it is nice to have the OFFICIAL PAPERWORK IN HAND! Makes it all seem so much more REAL!

TWO WEEKS I will have gone off my tiny shelf if they don't get here until two weeks before we sail.
I think I have finally reached the end of purchasing things. The only thing I think I still need is a bathing suit and the chances of finding one now are about as good as the chance of Disney letting us all go on the cruise for free.
The guy with the cocaine was one of the all time dumbest people I have ever heard of. You buy the stuff, you board a cruise ship, you sail around the tip of Florida. Then you put it in a back pack get off in Key West and then to top it all off you let the police search you. Some thing very strange here. I really hope he didn't have family on the ship. The more I think about this the more bizaar it seems.
DH and DD need to use the computer so I'm off. Estelle

Estelle you've got plenty of time. Let your computer do the shopping. Go to a search engine and type in swim wear. There are companies online that help you make a model of yourselve so you can see how the suit looks on you. Sorry, I can't remember which one it is.

Jan, I still have all the boys. Moms doing great. The baby was in a car accident yesterday with his mom, all are fine except the car but that can be replaced. My house is coming along on the drawing board, almost finished. Hoping to get the actually construction started soon.


Karen sounds like fun. Have a great time, you lucky gal.

I have our Fed Ex guy trained. He just opens our back door, throws in our docs then runs like crazy. Yes, he has delivered Docs to us before. He knows all the steps to the "I GOT MY DOCS TODAY DANCE." OH! I do have to sign when he brings me my drugs, LOL That guy in Key West was DUMB!!!!

GINGER: Can you bring some photos or sketches of the home improvements? We did our own renovations on our first house--it was 100 years old when we bought it. And we are interested in other people's renovations too.

Someone on the Drug arrest thread suggested that perhaps one "guest" left the drugs on one cruise, hidden somewhere and this guy picked them up the next cruise. That would be a way to get them from St. Martin or St. Thomas to the US without going through Port Canaveral.

Hey everyone! I caught my first two bugs today. My dad is going to try to get a gigantic wasp for me to. I have a grasshopper and a bug that looks poisonous. It has orange stripes down it's back and it's body is red. I don't mind killing the poisonous one, but the grasshopper is kinda cute!

MY DOCS ARE HERE
Unfortunately I'll have to wait until tomorrow to pick them up at my TA. BUT THERE HERE When I called my TA late this morning I left a message on her voice mail "Did my docs come in today?" When she called me back late this afternoon she said "How did you know the docs were here? Do you have ESP?" I told her "No, but I have my sources. The Halloween cruisers on my discussion board." I did ask her if we were upgraded and she said no. We did get our hotel preference for the Swan before the cruise. Since my TA hasn't gone over the docs yet she asked me if I could come in tomorrow. My DH is out of town on business and won't be home until tomorrow anyway so that's okay. We want to go in together to get our docs. YIPPEE!!! Patty

Well today I met the chef that's taking my catering course at the college, saw the uniform we have to wear! Check pants, a stupid hat and a huge white top thing. I also had the history lesson from hell and nearly throttled several people. All in all, an eventful day!

Robin Smallburrow-Hey, stop counting down! Thats my job! I counted down to Venice from 84 days and I even counted the hours when it came to it!

Talked to TA this morning. She says the documents were all processed and mailed yesterday. Says we should have ours on or before Tuesday. Yippee!!!
Emma-- what was the history lesson from Hell about? History was always my favorite subject but I don't remember any that were that bad. Of course maybe the problem is the teacher and not the subject matter.
Lynne-- I will see you at Sues' house on Tuesday. You will have to swear not to tell anyone what you see. I will have the mystery Halloween costume with me. Needs to be shortened.
Jan--we are catching up to you and Tom. It'll be 28 on Saturday.
Seems like yesterday.
Bought the absolute last item yesterday. Found a bathing suit company on line and ordered one. If I really like it I will probably order another one. Then I can throw out the one I've been wearing in the pool, it has little white threads of elastic working their way out of the fabric. I was told that is what long term immersion in a clorinated pool does to elastic fabric.
I must be off to the laundry and get gas in the car. Estelle
