OK--I first had both of us in the signature. Will do that again,

Jan :earsgirl: and Tom :earsboy:

For Cozumel I'm thinking either Tulum Ruins or Xcaret. At first I thought definately Xcaret until I read that the excursion doesn't allow enough time to do everything. I heard you'll feel rushed because there is so much to see and do and so little time to do it in. Now I'm leaning towards Tulum but still not sure. I hope to read more posts from people that have done these excursion to make a decision. Any advice?
For Grand Cayman we've decided on the Shipwreck & Reef Snorkling excursion. If we had more time in Cozumel I would have liked to snorkle there. I hear it's one of the best places for snorkling.
I like the idea of the postcards. We are not to far from Niagara Falls so I'll get some postcards from there. I love all these ideas! Patty :earsgirl:

How many postcards are you each bringing?
Jan :earsgirl: and Tom :earsboy:

I just got an e-mail from Ray saying he will be back on the boards soon.

Jan :earsgirl:

Yahoo! I am so glad he is coming back.

We took Ashley to Disney's Port Discovery yesterday it is located at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. It's a big kids museum with great learning activities. We had dinner at Phillip's Seafood Buffet, they have good food. While we were at the Inner Harbor I picked up a few post cards.

We are still up in the air as far as excursions go. Bill wants to ride the Banana Boat on Castaway Cay, he didn't get his ride last year. I sure hope he can this year. We couldn't dock at CC, a storm was coming in.
How's about spa treatments anyone have any thoughts on that. We like the Surial Bath.
Any Bingo players here? I love playing but it sure can run up your on board credits. On our first 2 cruises I won enough money to pay off our credits. They pay in cash.

Estelle Hershey has a contest going on giving away free candy bars, Ashley and I have won one everytime we have entered. She can't have them because they have peanut butter in them.
Ashley lost her first tooth yesterday:p , The Tooth Fairy brought her $5. Disney money to spend while in Disney World. Big bucks for the first tooth only, it will only be $1. for the next ones.
Hershey's contest

Congratulations to Ashley! Boy $5 for a tooth. I am really old I think I got .25 and that might even be more than I remember. If I pull all my teeth do you think my DH might give me $5 per tooth? Nah better not... he wouldn't like the dentist bill for the dentures.
I will bring postcards from the Christmas City. Some of ours are really lovely. Like Jan I would like to have some idea of number on the post cards.
I hope to find a nice somewhat floral shirt for DH for the evening of tropical theme. Should be able to find something like that and give it to him for Dads' Day. I already have mine. A tropical Minnie shirt bought years ago at the CBR. I'll probably wear shorts with it but might try for a nice skirt. We'll see what I can find.
Thanks Ginger for the Hershey site.
Estelle

Ginger--thanks for the info about the Hershey contest. What are you doing with the candy you win?

We bought Tom's Caribbean shirt and my swimsuit wrap at our first port of call last year and wore them on the Caribbean party. That added to the authenticity for us. We will bring the same ones this year. The fabric and print is not identical, but pretty close. I will wear the wrap as a skirt with a white tank top for the tropical look.

No fair Estelle, you get to bring Christmas City postcards. Will you bring everyone the same picture? I vote for the star on South Mountain, but trust you will find a good one(s).

Ginger: Did you get all the same picture on the cards or a variety? If it is a variety, how do you give them out--each gets what she or he wants?

I'm with Estelle in thinking that the Tooth Fairy has sucumbed to inflation--she brought quarters when I was a kid (in the dark ages).

Jan :earsgirl: and Tom :earsboy:

Too right England are fielding a team and an extremly good one at that! We're through to the final 8!!!! The quarter finals!!!! Wahooooooo! We beat Denmark 3-0! The USA play Mexico on Monday.

Just a little note to say I am well and will be posting again, (by popular demand) very soon.

Hi Ray, Welcome Back! We missed you.
Jan I got a variety everyone can pick and choose. I think we have 12 families posting so far. I know not everyone will want to exchange, so if you want to post so.

I would like to exchange post cards.
A quarter... I only got a nickel or a dime.

Yes I will trade post cards too. Jan I'll be sure to include one for you of the star on South Mountain. But I'll try and bring others too. Off to Fathers' Day shop. Estelle

Ps. Hooray for England!!!!

Ginger - Thanks for the Hershey's website. My hubby and I each just won candy bars. There goes the diet! I think the tooth fairy gave me dimes also. I remember being thrilled. Funny huh.
I'd like to exchange post cards. I counted a total of 14 families (excluding myself) so far. I forgot about the excursions at C.C. I remember reading about the Banana Boat and it sounded like alot of fun. I think if you belong to the Disney Club there is a discount for C.C. excursions. I think 10% off. I'll have to research that.
Ray and Tony - Glad to hear you'll be posting soon.
Patty:earsgirl:

RAY--Welcome aboard--long time no hear from. You were missed.

Now you've all got me thinking--not easy for my brain some days. Maybe it was a dime per tooth when I was a kid and a quarter when my kids were little.... Ah me--brain cells are creaking.

I will do the postcard thing too. Is that what we are doing--letting people know who is in that exchange?

Off to soak up some rays and see if I can get some tan where the sox go during the week. Tom is mowing the lawn.

Jan :earsgirl: and Tom :earsboy:

Patty I am a member of the Disney Club I have never seen that discount. It sure would be nice, let me know please.

Post cards sound fun, I'll bring a bunch from London.

How many do we currently need ?

Ginger - Here are the facts about the Castway Cay discounts. It's through AAA not Disney Club. I copied this from AAA website:
Exclusive AAA DCL Diamond Card:
10% off non-motorized watercraft rentals, bicycle rentals, floats and snorkel rentals at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island.
10% off merchandise at Treasure Ketch, the duty-free shop onboard Disney Magic and Disney Wonder ($75 minimum purchase). Unfortuately the Banana Boat won't qualify for this discount. I guess I got my info mixed up. I searched the Disney Club website, Castaway Club website and then finally did a search and found it under AAA.
For awhile there I thought maybe I dreamt it. Patty :earsgirl:

Ray, Welcome back!! Glad to see you are back among the posting. ;)

We will do the tour & stingray city (the kids are sooo excited about that!) I don't know what other excursions we'll be doing.

Since my dh doesn't read the boards I think I'd like to surprise him with the Surial Bath... we'll see.

Our toothfairy has given anywhere from a few coins (quarters/dimes) to $5.00 (that was the MALE toothfairy!!) Usually the toothfairy (female ;) ) likes to give golden dollars. :D The funny thing is that my ds has me write a note to the toothfairy asking her to please leave the tooth as he wants to keep it! LOL

Dave, I think we'll need 12-14 post cards.

It must have been a lovely day all over the planet since no one posted today

INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT

THE USA BEAT MEXICO IN THE SOCCER TOURNAMENT.

That may not be the right way to phrase it, but I am not a sports person. I was pretty impressed that it was announced on the radio every hour and half hour all morning and often in the afternoon. Where was the match held, Emma? Estelle?

Suzanne: Joshua is a kid I can understand. I still have some of my own baby teeth and those of my sons.

Jan :earsgirl: and Tom :earsboy:

It was held in Jeonju and like I said, the world cup has been full of surprises and you have to come to expect the unexpected.

Thank You, Patty. I have AAA I'll give them a call to see if my membership qualifies.
