calling for free dining

Hopefully it will pan out tomorrow but I am in need of advice. I want to switch my existing reservation to take advantage of the free dining . We live in Nova Scotia and I was wondering when I can call WDW ressie line? Can I call after midnight because technically it would be May 3rd? We have all of our dining reservations made for the trip in August. Will I have to cancel these or will Disney transfer them? I am so super excited and saving a few extra $$$ would make it that much sweeter. Thanks Disers!

You should be able to call when reservation lines open. 7am eastern, 8 am atlantic.

If you are booking for the same trip dates your dining reservations shouldn't be cancelled, but I would ask to make sure. Also make sure to get all the confirmation numbers in case they are tied to the trip reservation and that number changes.
