Calling Everyone Going In December

Were there 12/3 - 12/8 leaving for the 3 day cruise. Final payment in the next week or two!! MVMCP and LTT for 12/6. Calling Monday for CP at LeCellier on 12/7. Plans made for what, when and where! Just need the 90 day window to call for ADR's! Planning for this trip the last year has been as much fun as actual trip (well almost!)

We will be there Dec2-9. Have first 2 nights at Swan booked and paid for. Transferring to SSR on the 4th, booked that with member services last February. Will pick up our annual passes on Sept. trip. Going to MVMCP on Dec 6, but haven't bought those yet! Going to CP on the 7th, want to see Jim Caviezel. Still trying too talk DH & MIL & FIL into CP package at Biergarten, but it doesn't look good for me! Also need to make ADR for Crystal Palace one morning (a non EMH morning). We will be stopping overnight in Nashville on the way home to see a show at the Grand Ol' Opry, but still have to make those ressies. I have $$$ adding up in my Christmas Club at work, but everything except meals will be paid for before we go, so I can spend that on Christmas presents for the grandkids! let's see, what else do I need to do???

we have tons of stuff planned out... MVMCP, Illuminations Cruise (hopefully!), where we want to eat, etc... but the only stuff we've booked is the hotel. Passes can be bought day-of at the resort (since we're getting a room-only AAA discount) and plane fares aren't low enough from the West Coast yet (another month or so and we should be able to get those nice, $200-each roundtrip fares)... plus, it's not 90 days out yet (9/12 for us)... that's when the phone calls start really going!

Okay, I would like to know about the MVMCP. How does the ticket thing work. Like, when you buy your hopper, and then you buy a special ticket for this?

I've done the same as you have erinz... :) Room is paid for, have the MVMCP tix and ADR at LTT, we've already got the AP's from our previous trips, and we've got the plane tix. There's still lots to think about though!! lol But atleast the main things are done. :)

Hi!! We're going 12/10 thru 15 made my ressies(only because we are AP holders and I was at day 124) but my time off still hasn't been approved so kind of waiting on the rest....I'll be sooooo bummed if we can't go. We've never been at the holiday time....cross your fingers :earsgirl: : :earsgirl:

We are going Dec 11-17.

Room at ASMo booked, deposit paid.
MVMCP tickets in hand already.
Rental car booked.
ADR's in early Spetember.
Buying park tickets when it gets closer.
Waiting for hours to be released for everything else.

It will be here before I know it!!!!

Will be staying at Pop (1st time there for me) 12/2-12/10. I have AP paid for; bought airline ticket (just have to pay credit card bill when it comes in); have MVMCP ticket for 12/5 bought and paid for. I have a basic tour plan. Since I have never been in early December, I don't know if EMH will be going on so it is subject to change. I have paid for 1 night deposit for hotel. The rest of the room cost is in my savings account. I prefer to keep putting my money in the savings account for my room. I will pay the full amount of room at Halloween. I am trying to save like crazy to have money saved for food and of course souvenirs. I have been putting stuff aside for garage sale that I am planning to have first weekend in October. Not spending any coins - putting those in a "WDW" jar. I am so excited about my trip since I haven't been since 2002.

I have reservations made and deposit paid at Shades of Green, but I'm still watching for those discounts/dining offers. I can cancel SoG 30 days prior, but it would have to be a pretty good offer for me to switch (if I switched it would only be for a great deal at AKL). I have our days planned out unless there is a huge change in the Disney hours/EMH schedule. I have a meal list to call for on the 90 day mark (every day since I can't do the 90+10 and I'm up at 7 am getting my son ready for school anyway). I've bought the MVMCP tickets for the 13th, and made ressies at LTT (although I'd like to try for an earlier seating). Saving money for the trip and of course over-planning like crazy!! :earseek:

I'm going in mid-December. I have the cruise and hotel booked, airfare booked, and MVMCP tickets purchased. I am now at the all important stage of reading these boards on a daily basis! :)

Hi Shanon :wave2:

Did you mean to say MVMCP on Dec5th? There is no party on the 5th, just the 4th and 6th.

Didn't want you to show up on the wrong night! :wizard:

If it's the 4th.....OR the 6th (we're going twice  ) we'll see you there!!

We will be there from Dec. 1-10. We will be staying at POFQ. This will be our 6th December stay. We have our tickets for MVMCP and will be booking our Candlelight dinner package Monday 8/15.

Thanks Erinz! I went and doublechecked my ticket. Yep! December 4th - guess I will "fix" my tour plan. :rotfl:

Bought plane tickets and hotel reservations/Ultimate Park Hoppers through Virgin Hols in July 2004! :hyper: (mind you, this is the one and only time I will ever book the whole thing as a package through another company - too expensive.. but I did it this time because it's my first 'no parents' holiday and wanted to make things as easy as possible!)
Staying in ASMo - we're students and have saved like mad to do this (although if we had booked direct we could have gone Mod, but my boyf really wants to stay in ASMo - we'll go Mod on our next hols!).

Will be paying off balance by the end of September.

Birthday and PH on Dec 15th.
MVMCP on Dec 20th.
Will be booking one of the Eartha Kitt CP Packages on Monday.

Now, I'm devouring all info on TGM and in the UG until the park hours come out!

We'll be there Dec 2-11, staying at ASMo. We have our MVMCP tickets for the 6th. Our group has qualified for a Magical Gathering status, so we may get to do some fun dinners or something. :cool1:

We're booked and deposited for MYW with dining at Pop Century for December 5-12 :cheer2: . Have MVMCP tickets for 12/9 stashed away (with LTT ADR for 5:40 that evening). Air is booked and paid, limo to airport is booked (a little splurge - getting to JFK from Poughkeepsie, NY, which is about 75 miles north of NYC, is much easier and relaxing to go by limo, and I got a deal). Itinerary and ADRs are planned - just waiting for 90 day mark. I'm working on t-shirts and "mousekeeping" envelopes are done. I'm planning what to pack in a box to send down to the hotel for snacks, breakfast items, etc., and I visit these boards constantly. I'm thinking of doing the sleigh ride at WL, but haven't decided yet. I will before the 90 day ressie mark. I've been to Disney 9 times, but never during the Christmas season. Can't wait. I'm going with my adult daughter and her friend, who is mentally challenged and somewhat childlike. I can't wait to see her reaction to everything Disney!!! I'm thinking of doing a scrapbook type autograph book for her after the t-shirts are done. I am thoroughly enjoying the planning. In fact, I am spending much less time obsessing over our upcoming cruise in October than I normally would - I'm doing it for Disney instead. Of course, on these boards, I'm perfectly normal - right? ::MinnieMo

Count me in, I will be there Dec. 23-28. Can't do the MVMCP, though.

We will be there Nov 20- Dec 3rd. We will be doing the non-Disney parks Thanksgiving week (with the exception of a water park. Keep looking for the refurbishment(sp?) schedule). We will be doing the Disney parks starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving and through the first week of December. We have our rooms, airline, rental car, park tickets (Disney, Universal & Discovery Cove), Cirque tickets, & MVMCP tickets set. I have written out a starter itinerary,, which will probably change when the schedules are set. :rotfl2: . Waiting for the 90 mark to make ADR's, book parasailing & (hopefully) and Illuminations cruise. This trip is extra special because we are being joined by my mother, godmother and cousin and we will be visiting my sister and her family who are now in Orlando.
