Calling CRO...

I am anxiously awaiting codes to be released for June. I have only called twice because I hate the 3RD DEGREE I get when I call. Is it necessary to go through all of that every time when you just want to check if any codes came out yet? Is there a better way to ask or start the conversation with CRO? :sad2:
 
Gotta tell ya....if you check here on the boards every day, you'll know when those codes come out!!! As soon as someone hears of them, they get posted. IF someone reads on Mary's site (Mousesavers) that there will be a code coming out the next day, believe me, you will know about it. I can't be bothered calling CRO every day. With very few exceptions the rooms don't go all that fast.
 
Disney started modeling CRO after other call centers over a year ago. CMs are required to give you "the 3rd degree" for call quality monitoring purposes; calls are recorded and scored against a checklist of over 30 points the CMs must cover on every call. Imagine trying to do everything on the checklist whilst being friendly and giving out information at the same time- not easy, especially when you're being required to work 60 hours a week tied to a phone.

That being said, you could probably nicely tell the CM that, while you know they're requred to ask you for this information, you'd really prefer not to give it until you know if the codes are out or not. Most CMs will then feel that you've gotten them off the call monitoring hook and go right to the info.

But ALWAYS give your info up front if there's ANY chance you might book a ressie; the reservation/availability program launces from the database, but is a totally separate program. If you don't give your info and try to book, adding your info manually into the res program takes much, much longer than giving it at the call start.
 
Sometimes when I call I just flat out ask if codes have been released for so-and-so date yet. The last time I called and asked about May codes and the CM did not ask for any of my info. She said let me check...and then told me codes are only vailid through April 16th at this time.
 

The last 3 times I called - all pertaining to booking a ressie - the CM didn't ask me for any of the information, yet it was all there on my confirmation - kids names and all.

I like to think that it must be noted that I don't call frequently and am not a pest so not to give me the 3rd degree. :rotfl2:

In reality, I've given them all the information in the past so now that they have it, I guess they don't need to ask for it. I actually like talking to CRO.
