Calling Connecticut Disers

Can someone from Connecticut tell me what the cut off date is for kids entering school? What I am looking for is the date a child has to turn 5 by before they are eligible to enter knidergarten. Thank you.

I am not sure if it is the same in all towns in Connecticut, but the ones I am familiar with have a Dec. 31st cut off date. I hope this helps!

It is Dec 31 for most, if not all districts. You can hold them back, if you so desire.

In CT, you do not legally have to send your children to school until they are 7.
