Calling CA Grill experts...

Ok, so, total skip in my mental CD here. When I was on the phone the other day making my CA Grill ADR, I got a little spazzed when she asked for the CC#, and during my spazzing (ack, where's the card!), I can't remember if she told me I need to confirm my ADR 48 hours in advance or not. Do I? Don't I? Someone with more sense than me straighten me out, please!!

You don't need to confirm, but in order to avoid a per person cancellation charge I believe you need to cancel your reservation within 24 hours of your scheduled ADR time. If it's 48 hours, someone here feel free to correct me.

Ahh, right. I knew it was something about doing something some number of hours ahead of time. This is what happens when you change your ADRs too many times in too small a time frame...

I was told you had to cancel within 48 hours of your ADR time to not be charged the cancellaton fee.

You give them a credit card when you make your reservation, so that they have something to charge if you fail to cancel 48 hrs in advance and then don't show up for your reservation. When you come into the restaurant, you can pay however you like- it doesn't have to be the credit card you gave them. And yes, if you use DDP it will cost two credits.

I just made an ADR for CAGrill for the middle of May and the gal told me 24 hours was the cancellation . Then again half the time I think CM don't know what is up because we were also told there are no bed side rails!
