Calling August Minimeet Folk

OK, here's the deal. We have a mini-meet set for Thursday, August 31st at Rose and Crown. That's a done deal - though there's still time for Carmi to add you if you haven't signed up yet on the mini-meet sticky thread above. Just let us know and we'll add you on.

BUT, our dear Rick and his dear Joe can't make that meet. Sooooo we'd like to set up another earlier mini-meet that week, not to replace the one that's already set, but merely to supplement it with yet another opportunity.

Listen, all Gwen and I have to do much of the week on our 20th anniversary trip is ... well, let's just say, we'll be working up an appetite - which is a good thing because Carmi has volunteered to set us up with a nice dinner at another location at WDW. He only needs to know how many of us will attend. So far we have:

Vicki and Gwen
Rick and Joe
Carmi and ???

So, who else is in?

I am around from the 27th ... I will be at Royal Pacific on the 25th & 26th.. and then checking in to the BCV on the 27th... so, let me know what your plans are... and perhaps I can get my neice to watch my nephew while I pop out to meet you all for a drink!

I was proposing an exceptional dinner, something prepared specially for us. For that reason, I was not proposing it at WDW, but at one of Emeril Lagasse's two restaurants in town (both are around Universal Orlando). Thanks to various friends I have at WDW, I am sure I can arrange another meal somewhere else on Disney property, but this was intended to be about the food, not just a place for a group to meet. If some of you want to meet somewhere else on Disney property, I will try to hook it up, but I am quite sure it will not be the same food experience.

Unfortunately, not to throw a wrench into the works, but Joe and I can't leave property because we don't have a car. If we were to catch a lift from someone, that's fine, but we have other alternate plans with other folks as well. That said, it'd be better for us to do something on property.

Checking in to AKL 8/23-8/30! Never stayed there before and we're sooooo excited due to the savanah view! Waking up to see the animals is going to be pretty neat!
