On Jan. 14 I close on the sale of my Condo. I'm making some money :) After I pay off bills, stash some away in the mattress. I want to take some and surprise my family with a trip to Disney. I know I'm not working and it does seem like the wrong thing to do. But while working I made money and was smart to save for this thing. Although I am looking for a job, I haven't quite looked that hard. Also, I get hitched to the man of my dreams on Jan. 17th. All that being said.

Here is what I'd like, cheap airfare out of either EWR, JFK, LGA and staying inside the World there will be 6 of us (no they're not all mine). We're going to have to go during spring break April 7-18, I know the parks will be crowded, but there is always fast pass.

I spent the whole night up thinking about this and have decided this is what I want to do. Made sure with the new hubby that he would be able to get the week off from work without him knowing why I wanted to know. We're not doing a honeymoon, so I figured this could also with 4 kids, be our belated honeymoon.

All your help and tips and ideas and sites would be appreciated!

Dan the little Darlings will be 17, 15, 12 & 12 on the trip..... 2 of them have never been to Disney.... My guys have been there 5 times. :D

I would just check the resort board and budget board here very often. I get a lot of great tips and codes from those boards.

With 6 people, it would be cheaper to get a home away from home. I know there are a number of them in the world, but I really only know about the FW cabins. They do sleep 6 and since there is a full kitchen, if you are looking for ways to save money, you could easily do several meals in your cabin! :hyper: My sister stays there all the time and really loves it. :bounce: There is a double bed in the living room (pulls down from the wall) and a double bed and set of bunks in the bedroom.

Hey Dan, thanks so much to the link to that site. Never knew of it.

Gives me a ton of information. It's been awhile since I was to Disney. I'm starting to get excited. The fact that it will be a secret to all but me is even better.
