We are staying at the Beach Club for the 1st time this October. It is also our 1st MNSSHP. We have a pool/water view booked. Are these views very good? Would you save money and just go with a standard? I am not as concerned about a view as I am about a good room location. We usually stay at WL and one of the things I love is everything is under one roof. Is everything under one roof at the BC or will I have to go outside to get to certain areas. Any special things you can tell me about the Beach Club that might not be obvious? We are so excited to be staying at an Epcot resort. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I just love researching a new place.:)

A majority of the standard rooms are on the front of the building, overlooking the parking lot. If you plan on spending any time looking out your window or on your balcony, you may want to stick with what you have.

There are shops and restaurants located within the BC resort itself, plus there are places you can only reach by going outside (fitness center, Hurricane Hannahs, Beaches & Cream, arcade).

Have only visited BC to eat and enjoy the ambience. We really enjoy Beaches and Cream. I have also had the character breakfast, it was good, the character interaction was great.

I will be staying there in September, first visit to BCV. Very excited to experience this beautiful resort. Since we will be there prior to you let me know if you have last minute questions before you leave. I agree with you about the WL, we loved being in one building.

Any other suggestions on staying at BC are welcome, where do you go for CS without visiting the parks?

I don't really know if the water view at the BC is worth it. We once paid for Water View and had a full balcony and direct view of the lake. However, we looked out towards the volleyball net and had some big trees in our way of the lake view. One time we paid for standard view and got upgraded to water view for free at check-in. We didn't have a full balcony and could really only see pool water on our right. I would have been a little unhappy if I had paid for water view and got this room. I think at other resorts the view is much more worth it. For example, when staying at the BWI/BWV the boardwalk view is absolutely worth it. I think the same holds true for the POLY and GF with MK view. You are getting a direct view of the lagoon and the MK-can't beat it.

At the BC though, the water view can be pretty lame-like our sideways pool water view. DH and I both agreed that next time we do either YC or BC we are doing standard view. Now at the POLY, I would want MK view for sure! :goodvibes

Everything is under one roof except for Hurricane Hannah's which is out by the pool and Beaches and Cream-you have to walk out by (but not inside) the pool area to get to it. The other restuarants are all inside-Cape May Cafe, BC Marketplace (a little CS place/store) and the ones at the YC-Yachtsman Steakhouse and Yacht Club Galley. Plus all the bars. The YC is attached to the BC, so you can walk (inside) from one to the other.

We've stayed at YC & BC several time and they are excellent! AWESOME location for parks. We've requested pool view twice and gotten GL corner right next to the pool both times. another great view we always get is garden view.:thumbsup2 The name can be misleading, :) but you get some type of "garden View" weather it be trees, grass, or the gazebo. which is cool cause we got to see a weekend wedding once. ( just a glance of the Bride, which was by he way beautiful! ) But really no matter what spot you get you cant go wrong staying there! The resort is very relaxed and entertaining at the same time! lots to do especially at BWI. If you get a chance indefinitely rent a surrey!!:rotfl2: They are sooooooo much fun!! We have awesome memories on the surrey!! :thumbsup2

Everything, except Hurricane Hanna's, is under the roof! Beaches and Cream, Ship Shape Fitness Club, the arcade, and Perriwig's salon are under a huge covered porch area...you will not get wet or have to worry about sun or rain in these areas. Plus you can walk between YC and BC without sun or rain! ;)

I would keep water view, because it is so nice to overlook the Boardwalk and Stormalong Bay!:thumbsup2

You will love the BC!:goodvibes

We reserved a standard room and when we checked in the CM commented on how excited I looked! Imagine how much more excited I was when we went to our room to find a full balcony and waterview!! It was great!!:thumbsup2
