We are extending our stay at the Wilderness Lodge in September because of the AZZ rate and I was wondering, besides the theme parks, what are your favorite WL Resort activities.

The Lodge's Hidden Mickey hunt!

And relaxing in a rocker in front of the fireplace -- just people-watching.

--Be the flag family! We did this on Thanksgiving Day, 2002 and loved it! Ranger Stan is the best!

--Relax by the beautiful pool!

--Finding a cozy nook and/or chair in the lobby and read/people watch.

--Sit on the big outside deck/porch overlooking the pool/lake area.

--Wander, wander, wander::yes::

Don't forget to walk over to the camp grounds: biking, boating, horseback riding, campfire, etc.

I love to just sit in a beach chair on the beach. It is so quiet & peaceful. The view is so wonderful!

Enjoy your stay!

We love renting the watermouse and cruising Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon...The Duck Races on Silver Creek...The Indian artifacts, historic paintings, and survey maps that are displayed. The geyser...Oh we just love everything.

Just being there is enough for me. Our last visit we did not leave the Lodge for two days. Sitting on the porch. Listening to the brook. Sitting by the fire place. Grabbing a nook and people watching or reading a book. Going to the spa. People watching in the lobby. Thinking about the Lodge was what got me through two major surgeries this year. I would give just about anything to be there right now...........

Take the Lodge Tour. It is very informative and very interesting!

Sitting in a rocking chair on one of the upper floors, in a nice quiet spot is wonderful! The Hidden Mickey hunt is also a lot of fun, and not easy!

The WL is the BEST!!!!

We would be very conten to stay there and never set foot in the parks. My best memory of our last visit is my solo trip in the watermouse and seeing Cinderella's Castle from the middle of the lake.

Boating, walking the trails (we the most gorgeous owl), biking, people watching, rocking, swimming....

I want to be there right now.

I like to jog the trail that goes to Fort Wilderness and spend some time there.

I absolutely agree. WL is the best! Last time we were there, we spent lots of time just relaxing somewhere on the grounds. It's great to head down to the pool, walk around the property, and take the boat ride over to the MK. Just sitting in the lobby listening to that music gets to me every time.

We went last year.. the plan this year is to stay at the PC, since we've never been there and the $49 rate is just too great to pass up. But each year we plan the trip thinking we'll spend the whole trip at a value resort, and each year, we end up switching back to the WL for at least one (ok, two or three) of the nights!

 Now look what you've done... I won't rest until we swap a night or two over to WL! ;)
