Calling all SINGLE solo travelers

A little late to the party, but here goes...

33-year-old SWM, lives in Orlando (right off I-Drive). Huge Disney fan, but an even bigger fan of Pleasure Island. :earsboy:

Yes, but can you recite the Adventurer's Creed from the AC?

;)

OK, you asked for it...

The Adventurer's Club Creed [with hand signals]

We climb the highest mountains, [hand over eyes like a visor]
just to get a better view;
We plumb the deepest oceans, [plug nose]
'cause we're daring through and through.
We cross the scorching deserts, ["cheers!" motion]
martinis in our hand;
We ski the polar ice caps, [swish, swish]
in tuxedos looking grand.
We are reckless, brave and loyal, [hand up like an oath]
and valient to the end. [point to rear]
If you come in here a stranger,
you will exit as a friend.

KUNGALOOSH! [the fishy thing]

Wow, I've never felt both immensely proud of myself and kind of like a loser at the same time before. ;) Hopefully this proves I'm worthy of dating a Disney princess.

Wow! The hand motions and everything! You pass the cool guy test in my book! :)

Hello All -

I was planning a weekend escape in early June to WDW and stumbled onto this thread......interesting.

Busy, 50 year old lady - aka "mouseaholic"......could go to the Betty Ford Clinic but as I say......there are worse addictions. I travel to WDW 3 or 4 times a year with a week-long visit planned in early December this year.

Does anyone else find it frustrating when others do not understand the magic of Disney?

Anyway, if anyone is around June 3 - 5.....drop my a note....I'll be the short one....with the BIG grin on my face - riding Sorin' time after time (my favorite).

Greetings from Hawaii! While not exactly solo (I'm here with my Mom and visiting my brother and his wife) I am still having a wonderful time. I hope everyone one is doing fabulous!

Hey, Brant!

I just realized that I met you a few years ago with Nate & the Cru Crew! Small world (or small Disney message board community, I guess!)

My solution to the getting lonely on solo trips problem was to nag my friends that live in Orlando to come hang out with me. A couple of hours with someone you know every few days helps a lot! Someone to share stories with, etc.

HA! Yes, I did meet you, I believe after Fantasmic one night we all met up? Don't recall what we did, cept that it wasn't for long, just the short time between Fantasmic and exiting the park. I went with them again in December 03's Mousefest, I don't remember seeing you there tho! Nice to see you again . How did you remember it was me??

All these single women and no one for me. Boohoo...

Oh well, I'll ask Cinderella out. I saw her at the Magic Kingdom and she was gorgeous! Prince Charming, step aside...Manager Lumbergh is here for you!

I'm here in NYC. And, I have now rented a BCV from November 1-6 to absolutely be there for the Food and Wine Festival. I know it's early, but please shout out if you might be there then too. This will be my first solo trip to WDW.

Alrighty. :earsboy: Single Disney Male, 40 (just :confused3 ) Bloomington/Normal, IL (yes, I'm Normal pirate: ) will be at the world Sept 9 through 18 (but off-site 11-16).

Hello, all! I just stumbled across this thread, and thought I'd join in.

I'm just another 40-something, SW Beauty looking for a Beast to ring my Belle (sorry-- couldn't resist :teeth: ). As you can see from my profile, I'm currently living in Greensburg, PA. I'll be moving to Connellsville in a few weeks though (about 30 miles southwest of here). My family last visited WDW way back in the late 70's (our first and only trip; I was barely in my teens). My DB and I are planning to go again from Sept. 8-20, 2006.

a fellow IL Disney fan! :earsboy:

Seems like we'll be in the parks at the same time. I'll be there from Sept 8-11 for a long weekend!

I know there are some other Illinoisians around here somewhere. I've seen some of them in the DVC groups. Gotta be a couple more looking in!

Just found this thread - how great

DWF, 36 years young (that's only 8 in mouse years) don't get to go solo as I have disneyholic daughters (7 and 9 y/o) that would never forgive me if I went without them. I do try to make at least 1 evening out just me.

Anyone gonna be at WDW June 27th-July 5th? (we like go to Orlando for some cool weather in July :rotfl: :rotfl: cool of course being a relative term - and it's relatively cooler than TX) :sunny:

Ok, just found this thread and I'll join up too
SWF, 47, owned by Yellow Labradour--Nickname-Moose. Who doesn't understand why I leave her to see the mouse.
Moved to FL after layoff in Minnesota to be closer to House of Mouse. Ok I will admit my parents snowbird down here.
Annual Passholder and head up to WDW as much as possible. Live 45 minutes away in Lakeland.
