Calling all Sept 2010 Poly DISers!! UPDATED VISITOR LIST PAGE 4, POST 50

I'm really getting butterflies now! Just three days to go!

We will be at Poly 09/18 - 09/26 for our first time. This will be DD-2 first trip to Disney. Completed Online Checkin this morning and I absolutely cannot wait!

We went out and bought the kids' Halloween costumes yesterday. DD8 is going to be Snow White and DD1 is going to be Minnie Mouse.

All I could find was the pink Mickey Mouse Clubhouse dress for 18-24 months, so I decided to try on DD8's old 2/3 Belle costume and it didn't look too big, so we went ahead and bought the 2/3 Minnie Mouse costume.

It's too cute!!! I can't wait!

Tamina from Prince of Persia (she liked it because it was pants and not a dress)
Pocahontas
Princess Tiana
Snow White

I'm still hoping that an 'Ohana breakfast opening happens for us. Fingers crossed for some pixie dust for that day!

I was playing on the Disney site last night and I saw a 7:10pm spot at Ohana open for our free night and I tried to grab it, but I think I was about a second too slow. It said that it wasn't available anymore and the times had been updated and it was still showing, so I tried again, but nope, same message, but the time stilled showed when I refreshed.

I tried one more time to get it and got the same message and then, when I refreshed, it was gone. Boo!!!

I guess I'll keep looking. If we don't get anything, we'll just go with our original plan of either getting counter service or snacking in the club lounge.

Good luck! Be sure to keep an eye on the September (or October) ADR cancellation threads! I found some good ADRs that way!

While I love the ability to make ADRs online, I have also found some odd glitches like that. It is irritating, especially when it is something you really, really want! Well, good luck and here's hoping for some pixie dust for you!

I just got my 7 guest reservation for 'Ohana for a breakfast on the day we fly out!!!!

I signed up for it and will have to double check that it works with our flight schedule, but I jumped at. I've checked multiple times a day and finally it opened up!

I'm so jealous!!! We aren't going to be heartbroken if we don't eat at Ohana, but we thought that Grandma would think it was fun, so we thought we'd try for it.

So, last night, I was trying to pack some more and I started stressing out. I went into the living room and just flopped on the couch. When DH asked what was wrong, I just looked at him.

I feel like, when we booked our reservations, it seemed like so far away and now, I'm freaking out because I feel so unorganized! We just went in May, so all of our clothes should still be okay AND I just went and bought each of the girls 3 new outfits, so what's my problem?!?!?

I usually don't freak out like this until the night before we leave. We still have 2 full days before the day we leave.

I even took the time to go get my hair cut and colored last night, so I should feel like I'm more ready than normal. Geez!

I'm with you. Sometimes we have no idea what's wrong.

I was so frustrated last night because my EIGHT year old had two hours of homework (ok, part of that is his fault because he doesn't focus but we had to sit there with him and it is painful!). Then my husband and I are trying to figure out who's driving the kids where on which days for school, daycare, soccer, dentist appointments, assessment tests, birthday party, and a sleepover and (breath) try to get our work done (oh, that pesky little thing that pays the bills) all BEFORE our trip...in FOUR days! So I flopped too and watched the Bachelor Pad because it is mind-numbing

I just know that once we leave the house, there is just nothing more I can do and I LOVE that feeling. I tell myself that we just need our IDs, a credit card, and a smart phone and the rest is solvable. If we forgot something, we replace it there. If I forgot to turn a light off in the house, we just call our neighbor who is watching our house. If I forgot to call someone, I have a cell phone! I just love finally letting go of all the planning and enjoying the vacation. Not much longer!!!

I think this is a wonderful quote! I was starting to feel stressed myself, and then I just read this and now I am smiling!

I am soooooo ready. Work is freaking out that I am going on vacation. I'm a project lead for this huge project that won't be over until 2012 and everytime I take some time off, they freak out. They've actually created ISSUEs on the project related to me taking time off - it's ridiculous. I can't wait to NOT be involved in this for a whole week.

But isn't that so true of all of us? We like our vacations to get away from daily stresses. No cooking, no cleaning, no driving to sports, no homework, no work, no having to wake up at 6 am, etc.
