Calling all Princeton, NJ area people - help with hotel...

Well, its that time of year again when I go to my niece's birthday party in Morrisville, Pa.

There was someone here who helped me greatly last year with directions to the Courtyard Marriott in Princeton. I don't remember who and I can't do searches that far back. So I need help again.

That hotel is booked up for March 12 so I need to find another decent hotel near that one. I would like a hotel between my sister's house in Morrisville, PA, somewhere on Route 1, in the Princeton area...so basically it would be on the way home from my sister's house.

Can anyone help? I still have the directions from MA to Morrisville PA and back via Tappan Zee then Route 1. I think this is the best way for us to go and it's worked very well for us. But now to find another hotel along the way that has availablilty.

I'm pretty sure there were hotels near this Courtyard Marriott but I can't remember or find any of them.

Hello my firend!!! What hotel did you stay in last year? There is a BRAND NEW Hampton Inn that just opened up, it looks REALLY nice. There is also a Radisson and a Staybridge Suites also on the Southbound side of Route 1. Also, in West Windsor, about 10 minutes from where I think you last stayed, there is also an Amerisuites. Let me know what timing you're looking at and I'll definately help!!!! Here is a link to the new Hampton Inn:

Hello! I'm so glad you found this! With the change in the Dis a few months ago, I had no way of finding you. I couldn't remember your username.

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on Route 1 last year. Well, they are booked solid that weekend.

I'll have to check out the New Hampton Inn and the Radisson. We're going March 12 for one night.

I checked them this afternoon and they do have a decent rate of $82 but I have to pay in full and am charged right away and if I cancel I still pay $25 or I can pay $99 and not pay right away. So I'm waiting.

If you have another suggestion, I'm certainly open to it! Thank you so so much!

There is an Amerisuites, Extended Stay America, Westin, Hyatt, Staybridge Suites, and Residence Inn all located on Route 1. The Residence Inn is located about 5 or so minutes north of the Courtyard you stayed at last time. The Westin is just north by about 30 seconds, the Staybridge Suites is practically next door to the Courtyard. The Americuites, Extended Stay America and Hyatt are about 5 or so minutes south of the Courtyard.

I will check those ones you mentioned as well and I may book just book the Radission but I wanted to wait till I was sure since they charge your card right away for that rate.
