I'm leaning towards the tropical bouquet, however I'd love to see the different color variations. Any pics would be sooo appreciated.

Cheers

Hmmm...my wedding hasn't happened yet but I know there are a few girls on here who can help you out with some photos!

This is what I want, but I am very insistant that they have to be real and not fake. I called a nursury in Tampa that is known for plumeria and was told that the plants are all dormant during the month of Jan - when I would need them. I am hoping the disney florist can work some magic. :wizard:

We have those in our yard here at work..same color..but it seems like they bloomed right after we moved in last year..May

OP -

I had a tropical bouquet but asked that the colors be changed from the standard Pink and Orange roses to Jade and white with green cymbidium orchids..it came out PERFECT and whoever is Disney Floral's supplier..they were the freshest flowers I had ever seen!

the color is off in this one because of being indoors under the Palo lights, but you can see the flower details

I didn't want to hit quote and have it be super long - but I wanted to say that you are sooo lucky to have them in your yard!!!! I wish I lived where it was warm.

I grew up in Florida and that must be a popular tree because we use to make lei's with them when I was growing up

We have them in our yard too in all sorts of colors. But they are dormant when it is cold. We usually cut them back at that time.

You lucky people! Do you guys know if they have them in the bahamas? Maybe in nassau they aren't dormant... I have lots of research to do.

the Bahamas have the same climate as we do (Castaway Cay is due east of my house) so I don't think so
The southern hemisphere might have them, but they would have to be brought from Australia

Yea I was told the white and yellow ones could be brought in from hawaii without a problem, but apparently the pink ones are not likely to last the flight and are not as hearty as the white.

so I am :confused3

I am going to wait to make sure that we do the CC beach ceremony before I try to look into it further.

I feel bad for the OP because I have filled this thread with totally unrelevant stuff.

Not a problem, I went through PJs and saw pics of some tropical bouquets. now, if only I can get DCL to customize mine with fuschia and orange...

I don't see a problem with that if you are just changing rose color. I sent DFTW the picture of what I wanted the roses to look like and it was exact!

Brianna is checking to find out what the "standard" colors are for the tropical bouquet, then I'll see what I need to modify.

Cheers

My understanding is that the choices provided are the ones that come with the package. BUT that you can order anything you want from the disney florist and have it delivered to the ship.

you can have anything delivered to the ship, but there is a charge. Changing rose colors isn't an additional cost.

Orange and pinks roses with green orchids are the typical "standard" color..I told them green and white roses with white calla lillies and wasn't charged anything

If that's the case, then I won't need to change anything...they sound so pretty. It's just very hard to tell from the planning kit they send.

Brianna e-mailed me back with the tropical colors...peach and orange roses, green orchids and garnet glow calla lillies...that is perfect and exactly what I was hoping. I'm so happy...

make sure you write that in bold on your planning kit..I did that and also on the confirmation you get 30 days before you leave
