Hi everyone!!! I am new to this site and need your opinion:

We are cruising with our 2 1/2 year old daughter in 9 days:banana: This will be our first Disney Cruise (Wonder) 2nd cruise for her and 7th for us. To kinda prepare for this trip we are going thru a Princess Crash Course. I bought and rented a few major Disney movies and we have being watching them a little bit at a time. She loves Donald Duck, Goofy, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto so far Cinderella is her favorite (she watched it twice) she insisted that Belle "is not a piincess", little Mermaid is catching up with Cinderella we didn't get to watch Sleeping Beauty or Snow White yet.

Since she is so little and we (read mommy:cool1: ) are most likely to cruise with Disney again when she is older- do you think I should buy her a Cinderella dressnow?? I bought her a "princess" nightgown and she refused to try it on!! Little stinker said "tis is not Cinderella!!!!!" We are not big Halloween fans sooo, the dress would be for dress up, but is it really necessary or should I leave for when she is older and understands the whole princess thing???

Thanks for your opinion!!

PS: I also bought her minnie mouse t-shirt, little einsteins pjs, princess tennis shoes (with cinderella on it) and I showed her the ship online she asked me if Mickey was driving it:) Ok people got to go back to housework :laundy:

I don't have any kids so this is only what I would do if I a child. I would try to find a cheep dress. Then when she is older get her another one that is nicer. You could try to get her a Minnie outfit and a Daisy Outfit. If she loves them she should love the outfits.

My DD's 2 1/2 as well and is very much into the princesses. Well...she's pretty much into everything  . We brought a Belle dress (her favorite right now) with us that we picked up for $20 and she wore it one night. She loved it! What she loved most was seeing all the other "little princesses" in their dresses. I think once your DD see's the other girls in their dresses she'll be sold.

My dd went when she was 2.5 and didn't quite get the whole princess thing yet either. But it didn't stop her from having a good time and getting to know the princesses while we were there. However if you dd is into Cinderella now, you could always get her a Cinderella dress at Sams for $20 which is the cheapest I've found the princess dresses so far. They have Belle, Tinkerbelle, Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (I think).

Thanks for your replies everyone!!! I didn't know Sam's had princesses dresses I will check it out. I also saw some at Walmart that were pretty cute. I think we will go for it and get her one (maybe one for me too? :) hee!hee!

Can't wait to be out out of here and out on the sea!!!!!pirate:
