Ok.... its been awhile since I've been in October but we received the coveted "pin" code and Mickey said he was missing me (I was just there July 2008) but with such an appealing offer, I told Mickey that me and mom would come down for a quick visit.

So its me and mom - NO KIDS!!! My first no kids trip. Poor little dears, they've got school!

We will be there 10/6 to 10/10 but will only be doing parks on 10/6,7,8,and 9 due to an early flight home as the "real" world demands my attendance as well.

So here are the QUESTIONS:

How is the weather? As I usually go in the HOT AS HADES time of year in JULY, I dont know how to pack for early October.

How are the crowds? Even in July we manage to work the fast pass system well enough to only wait 30 min or so but we also have the time to do the parks at a slower pace and take a nap every day, SO I also need commando tips

Current plan:

I have 4 day base tickets without hopping but I may add hopping so we can do a second night at Epcot after our Animal Kingdom day. I just dont think I can stay at AK after 3pm- we never have before.

Meals: Going WITHOUT DDP this time But I did make some ADR's but didnt want to feel like "I had" to eat a sit down if the mood didnt strike... Also this will be a mini experiment to see if the DDP is really worth it- also an experiment or a proof that we wont starve if we dont have DDP and we can still eat good food.

ADR's: Day 1 MK: Lunch - Cosmic Rays ... Dinner- Tony's ( I know mixed reviews but Spectromagic is at 8pm and our ressie is at 830- so we will give it a whirl)

Day 2 Epcot: Lunch - Chef de France... Dinner- "munch around the world!"

Day 3 AK: Breakfast: 0730am Kona, ... Lunch - Flame Tree- and up for grabs here- as we may hop back to Epcot and munch around the world again for dinner

Day 4 HS: Lunch ???? ..... then 730pm Fantasmic then quickly to the Poly for Dinner at the Kona

We are planning on having a LUPA LUPA and think we will just sleep in our clothes for that 4 am magical express wake up call for a 7 am flight

OK...... So what do ya'll think? Suggestions, changes, pointers to maximize my fun are all welcome.
