My Plan for MK -

A few notes about me: :sunny:
- We plan to be at the park at park opening.
- It is not EMH and is the beginning of June.
- We don't mind jumping around the park to avoid lines, b/c we don't want to wait an hour for attractions.
- We have one day to accomplish all of this - don't need a break - we've got the energy!

What suggestions/comments/hints do you have for me? :worship:

9:00 FP Splash Mountain
Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
Carousel

10:00 FP Splash Mountain again
Big Thunder
Splash Mountain X2

11:30 FP Jungle Cruise
Carpets of Aladdin
Pirates of the C.
FP Philharmagic

1:30 Lunch in Fantasyland

3:00 Philharmagic
Haunted Mansion
It's a Small World

4:00 Hall of Presidents

4:35 Cinderellabration

5:00 FP Space Mountain
COP
TTA
FP Buzz L.
Space Mountain
Buzz L.
Dinner in Tomorrowland?

So what do you guys think? Is there enough time? What do you suggest?

Thanks for the help!

I've done the type A Disney commando thing....Once we did thirty attractions in one day! It can be done!

My suggestion would be to make a PS somewhere where you can sit down and be served a nice lunch or dinner. You will really feel refreshed afterwards. Your options are Tony's Town Square, Liberty Tree Tavers, The Plaza or Crystal Palace. (CP is a buffet)

Also, Buzz fast passes may be gone by 5:00 pm.

I have found that FantasyLAnd is the only place we have encountered really bad lines at MK, so we always do that first.

Another suggestion I would make is to read the Unofficial Guide to WDW. It is an excellent resource.

Have a Great Trip! :sunny:

I would get Space over with first, then ride Buzz. If you don't want to start with Space grab your FP then do Buzz, Then Peter Pan and Pooh if you can get them in by 10 AM
Then do Splash and BTMRR and continue on. You sound like a big Splash Fan so I would fastpass it as soon as you can.

Everything else you can do as is methinks

We have a P.S. for Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch that day. That will be our break for the day. :cool1:

Space Mountain is important to us, but we can wait for Buzz if we have to. Avoiding Fantasyland's long lines and being able to see the 3 Mountains are our top priorities!

Any more advice??? :wizard:

Go to Fantasy land first do small world too then go for fast pass over to splash do both splash and thunder then splash again then haunted mansion on to pirates jungles alladin etc go to lunch send someone for the phiharmagic fp then over to space get fast pass fro space wait for buzz then do phil or phil first due to time. first hour finish fantasyland then do fastpasses for the mountains thats my advice Don't miss Philharmagic whatever you do! :cool1: you go!

Can I?

- Get through Fantasyland in an hour (only doing 4 attractions) if I do it FIRST?
- Get to Splash Mountain around 10 and still have a reasonable return time on my FP?
- Use a FP after the last time if I'm like an hour or two late?
- Still get Buzz L. and Space Mountain FP at like 5 PM, if we are staying until 9 and don't really care when the return time is?

REMEMBER: this is the 1st week of June during a non-EMH day.

Any answers? Please help me refine my itinerary :) :goodvibes :wizard:

having been in August and done just that- I assume it was a bit busier than your time- I am sure you can do fantasy in an hour and sure you will have reasonable splash times- if you go right right to splash at 9:00 there won't be fast pass availabe usually for a bit and you could ride both then go to fantasy but you'd have 30 + waits there by then so I would go to splash at 10:00 I am not sure about the five oclock questions We don't do space mnt but I have alwaysd gotten buzz passes at 5:00 for about 7:00 in August

I'd highly recommend www.TourGuideMike.com . You'll find out how to hit all those attractions and never wait more than 10-15 minutes for any of them.

It really works. We were amazed when we were there during high season last year and never had to wait more than that. We kept saying "Thank you Mike!" That's why we renewed for this year too.

WELL worth the money!

Does anyone know if you can still arrive after your FP time? How late can you be? I'm not talking days, but what about like 4 hours late? :flower:

Thanks for the advice!!

Hi! I think you can definitely get Fantasyland done in an hour, as long as you do it first thing. Here's our general plan of action at the MK on both EMH days or 9 am openings (we, too, are always there as early as possible ;) ):

Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
Snow White
(sometimes Dumbo)
Space Mountain (or FP it)
Buzz
Stitch
(possibly back for SP FP, if required)
Small World (wasn't open our last 2-3 trips)
Haunted Mansion
Splash Mtn (or FP it)
Thunder Mtn
Pirates
Jungle Cruise

Depending on the day, we frequently fit all of these in by lunchtime - but, that is usually in the off-season. You can go back & fit in Presidents & Philharmagic pretty easily - each show takes a lot of people, so we never waste our time early in the day with these. They are also a nice break after getting in all of the other rides.

Sometimes, we also fit in Country Bears or the River Boat when we feel like it. My only real advice is to try & do just about everything you want in a specific area - don't try to do one ride in Fantasyland, one ride in Frontierland, then a ride in Tomorrowland, etc. It tends to go quicker if you do all the rides in one land, before crossing the park. We usually only do the MK in 1/2 day increments & go back several times throughout our trips - the afternoons get VERY crowded at the MK. Have a great time! :teeth:

re: your question on FP...there was a thread about this not long ago, but here is our experience.

On our last trip we had several CMS tell us we could ride anytime AFTER the FP window, just not before. Anytime that day, not another day! They said that was what they had been told to do. Some others posters on the last post said they were turned away, but the cms we spoke to said it was allowed. HTH!

Hi!
I've got to agree with the posts about sticking to one land at a time. My fear with your plan is that you're wasting a lot of valuable early morning time walking around MK. We never go in really busy seasons, or at least try not to, but we find that tackling Fantasyland first works best for us. Once we get Fantasyland in our rear view mirror, we usually head to either Frontierland or Tomorrowland, depending on our mood. We feel pretty smart the rest of the day as we stroll past folks waiting in the 45 minute line for Peter Pan.

Have a wonderful trip!
