Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon will be on Larry King tonight for a two hour interview. They will answer questions from callers as well. Starts at 9 est.

Thanks Kyle. I had seen that they would be on, but didn't go far enough to find out when.

I may have to skip my reality TV fix tonight for that!

I don't believe Larry has ever seen a Nascar race. These were some of the dumbest questions I have ever heard anyone ask a driver.

I think that's what they were thinking to Lanshark.;)

Wendy,

I agree. DH and I laughed watching their reactions to some of the questions. We were kinda shocked with Larry asked Dale where he was when his father died. I felt sorry for him.

This just plain out (excuse my French) PISSES ME OFF!!! I'm sorry to anyone who thought that Big Dude was someone else. There were 10 callers with 8 being women, 1 child and 1 (possibly) a man?) Give me a freakin break!!!! These questions were some of the most moronic I have ever heard!!

How far away were you when you learned that your father had crashed?

DUH!!!!!!!!

How about a clue for you my dear? When was the last time that someone said that you were a complete idiot? Go ahead and take a moment.....It was 5 minutes ago you stupid *****!!!!

What a MORON!!!!

IDIOT!!!

Yes, Larry King did sound like an idiot and those questions he asked about Dale Sr have been asked a thousand times (well except most know JR was in front of his dad when he died) but lets talk about he good parts. Jeff and Jr both looked great, I could even see why some describe JR as hot. Have to admit he's been looking better ever since he got that Gillette deal, call it my military background but I like a clean shaven guy (exception to that is Stewart - he looks hot when he doesn't shave). Anyway, Jeff made Jr blush when they were joking about his partying, that was funny. Jr mentioned that he studied Jeff for years cause he wanted to dominate like him, nice to know stuff. I enjoyed seeing Jeff and Jr joking around and talking about how competitive they are with each other. You could tell by the look in their eyes during certain questions that they each know the other pretty well both on and off the track. I really enjoyed their interaction - I can't stand Larry King and only watched the show because they were on ;)

I also enjoyed when Jr asked Jeff how his trophy looked and Jeff jokingly said "Wait til you have two then you can bring them over and we can look at all 4" ;)

First and last time I'll watch Larry King. What a moron, did he even do research before the interview?

I couldn't watch the whole thing....Larry King was such a moron, and a first class jerk. Enough with the "how did you feel...your father died" blah blah. Let the poor guy move on and revel in his own accomplishments.

arrrrgh...I'll NEVER watch Larry King again!

That was the worst show I've ever seen. Is it just me or did Jeff look like he was wearing too much make-up?

They both looked like they would rather be somewhere else.

Give me Inside Nextel Cup with Alan, Mikey, Kenny and Johnny any day over Larry King!

I don't Jeff had too much make up on. I think the difference was he was in the CNN studios in NY and Jr was in his shop in NC. There was different lighting that caused JR to look a little pale and Jeff to look a little too dark.

And yeah, the both did look a little uncomfortable at first, especially when King asked

KING: Where were you when he died?

EARNHARDT JR.: I was about 100 feet, probably about -- actually, yes, 100 feet ahead of him on the racetrack.

Duh, King needs new researchers or someone to check his questions before he asks them.

Did you see Inside Nextel cup last night? I don't like the new set. Don't think the drivers do either. Mikey mentioned something about being too exposed (there is no desk for the drivers anymore and Alan is about a mile away behind a desk). It looks terrible. I hope they make changes soon.

Tori - you might be right about the lighting. Jeff just looked kind of orange me to me and I blamed it on his TV make-up. Might have been the lighting.

I also agree about the new set. I liked it better when they were all together. The first couple of shows were great because Alan seemed more relaxed and even went without a tie. Now its back to him behind a desk and they are out front. They should all be together either behind a desk or all out in front. Wonder who did and didn't have input into the set design.

What a disgrace--you think with all his money and all the years he has been around that he would some research!!! C'mon the only thing Larry got right was that they are 2 legends. the  . All i can say was that it left me feeling very uncomfortable and I give Dale credit for sitting through the rest of the interview. I never watch Larry only did it to see the boys , :wave2: .
