I have a friend that might be locating there after the new year. Even though we go there many times a year...I just can't help her with locations of schools and homes. He will be working around the 17- 501 interchange. But I know that she would not want to be among the hustle and bustle of the tourist season, but wouldn't want him to drive an hour to get to work neither.

Being a teacher, I researched the following and found to be more interested in:
Carolina Forest Elem, Forest Brook, Midland, and Seaside Elementary. What do you think?

As far as homes, they are probably somewhere in the 175K-250K range, I would think? Any advice for me as I help them look. :confused3

Hi

I relocated to Myrtle Beach 3 years ago from NJ and love it. We are in the Carolina Forest Community and my son attended Carolina Forest Elementry for 2 years. It's a great school. We were very happy with the education he received. He now attends Carolina Forest Middle.

I'd be happy to answer any questions about the area or anything else that you have.
