Calling all locals! What is up with the weather?

Does anyone know what the weather will be for next saturday? * 29th * me and DGF will be visiting DL/CA for one day, hopefully its a sunny day ^.^ and does it get very cold at night? DGF is thinking of wearing a skirt, but if its that cold from evening to closing....that might change. oh, and we plan to ride lots of splash mountain and go on GRR for the first time ^_^ shes new to DCA :)

I think we both posted before the freak shower that came on later around six huh? :lmao: Crazy So-cal weather indeed...

Warlock, it's too hard to tell that far in advance, but it's been pretty cold lately without the rain anyway at night anyway, so you might wanna tell your DGF to wear tights and bring a blanket if she's planning on wearing a skirt. :goodvibes

Oh alrighty then ^_^ Also, does anyone know how much the deluxe frames are at splash mountain? we are planning to ride it more than once, and get a picture as a nice memory, with the picture frame based on the ride, with the characters all around it. And, are the towels they sell at the same spot you buy your picture, splash mountain Themed? that would be sweet ! and i would use it for her to sit on while we wait for night time fantasmic :thumbsup2

They are forecasting 78 and partly cloudy for Friday so I imagine the weekend won't be too far off from that. An onshore flow will be moving in and bringing marine layer and low clouds and fog. The nights will be a little chilly for a skirt, IMHO, but I guess it depends on what you are used to - if you are coming from AZ heat then you'll be freezing, if you are coming from WA or CO, you'll think we're silly Californians when the weater forecast calls high 60's cold. Personally, I think she'd be mighty uncomfortable on rides all day in a skirt if it is short, there are some rides where she'll likely be giving people a show especially when boarding.

For anyone interested, the upcoming forecast for the Disneyland area is....

Friday: 78 °F and Clear...

...and presently it's,

Aw malarky. It doesn't rain here. My bet is on some drizzle.

The national weather service report is really deceiving too. It covers some burn areas and mountain areas, and it covers the coast, but each will see different things. TStorms will stay in the mountains usually, and flash floods only really affect burn areas (which is no where near DL) because there is no vegitation to absorb and slow down the water. I think we'll be lucky to get any rain, because we do need it, but I doubt it will be a massive storm in Anaheim. Our local news forecast is barely comitting to rain, much less a nasty storm, and only a 20-50% chance of overnight showers at that, mainly Thursday night. I would bring your umbrella and don't cancel any plans, for all we know the storm might stay to the north and never even hit us, that happens all the time because when they make predictions they are focused on the LA Metro area, which is really not where Anaheim is, and half the time we never see the storm that the north end of LA gets.

I'm planning on going to the park Friday night to see Halloween simpy because everyone else will stay home because of the chance of rain!

Not that it matters much now (it's 12:04 monday morning) but Friday night at 11:30 it POURED HARD right as I got to my hotel room across the street. Desert Inn. My friends with 6 kids got caught in the downpour waiting for the tram back to the garage. Sat afternoon it also poured on us again.

Once in awhile it actually does rain in California.....go figure. :sad2:

Was in the parks yesterday and it was very nice day... Not too hot at all but a bit chilly towards the night. Weather lady says it should be warming up a bit, if it helps anyone at all. :)
