We stayed at HRH in July for the 1st time. We had a deluxe room rate was $269. We like it so much we're going to do 3 days July 2005 before we hit Disney. Now the questions - according to Universal Web Site with an AAA discount the rate would be $309 for a deluxe room and $336 for Club Level. Which would you choose. To me it seems like $27 per night is a small price to pay for Club Level. If you've stayed club level please tell me your experiences. Also I think I've read that there are only a few deluxe rooms club level and you can't guarantee that you'll get them. DOes anybody know how many deluxes are on the club level? Also it will be me, DH, 2 dds 6 and 7 and ds 5. Will we be too crowded in a regular room? Will there be enough room with a roll a way bed? We did get spoiled with the deluxe room but the $27 difference for club level sounds too good to pass by. Need you expertise! Also, doesn't it sound like a big rate increase between 2004 and 2005. Hopefully with the entertainment rate the price will come down, or I could get one of us and AP and hope for that rate. Last year we bought the MC buyh 5 pay for 4 bonus passes so it only came to $400 for all 5 of our passes for 5 days, I was thinking of ordering them now in case they don't offer the MC special again, but then I'm not sure if I should get an AP for a bigger price cut. THanks in advance.

Hi I'm not an expert, but we did just return from a stay there a couple of weeks ago. We paid $134/night with the entertainment card, so the prices you are quoting seem very high to me. If you want to stay club level, I would make sure of what they offer and if you think it will be worth the difference. One thing we did notice while there was how expensive food, drinks, etc. were, so maybe staying club level would help with that.

About the roll-away, we stayed in a standard room and I'm not sure where they would have put the extra bed due to all the furniture in the room. I guess they would just remove some to get the bed in. We stayed at CSR and used an aerobed there and that room seemed to have way more space, we didn't use the aerobed at HRH, not really sure where we would have put it.

I just wanted to comment that you might have better luck calling to get a better rate.

When I was researching my upcoming trip, the website quoted me prices higher than what they told me over the phone. Also, the website said ENT rates weren't available, but they were available when I called. (Hopefully prices don't go up too much!)

also, they reserve the deluxe rooms first.... just make your ressie asap! :)

and yes, concierge is worth $27 more a night
