My DBil and DFBil can join you as being Groomzillas. My DBil was a total Groomzilla for his Wedding last year and my FBil is being one right now planning his wedding.

My DF first trip ever to Disney was Sept. 2008...since then even his kids say he has "issues"...he is on the Disney Dad's Thread and has become a total Disney fanactic!

Now in addition to all things Disney...he has also become Mr all things Wedding! I've been in the hotel industry 15 years as a General Manager...trust me I've hosted my fair share of weddings, living in the Poconos...I can plan one in my sleep...know what I like and what I want...simple easy....He on the other hand, wants to know and learn everything there is...driving the kids and me totally INSANE! Groomzilla, yes sir, reporting for duty!

I think you should start a Groomzilla thread...help the cause! :thumbsup2

I won't necessarily classify my DH as a Groomzilla, but there are some elements of our VR he wants total control of(menu, cake, music). However my only difficulty or him has his opposition to almost every tuxedo alternitive Ive thrown at him since he hates wearing tuxedos.

Great idea. cant wait to see how many of us are out there. We are acutally waiting to sign the contract for our wedding on 2/18/11. I here once the contract is done then the fun starts. can wait.

I'm fighting cause belive it or not I want Cindy's coach. Call me wierd or whatever but the coach looks really good in pics. I gonna fight real hard for this one.

I haven't heard the term "Groomzilla" yet, but I am heavy into the planning. I think for us it is kind of a personality thing. I am a planner and it stresses me out to not be on top of things. My fiance is much more laid back.

We are having a lot of fun doing the planning! We are getting married on August 12th.

Hey, I love Cindy's Coach too and plan to have it too, as well as 4 Characters(Cindy, Prince Charming, Mickey & Minnie). My DH thinks it's a waste of money, and we've had some arguements about some elements like the characters, but I want those more for our DS and DtwinNephews, as well as my 2nd cousins. I know the money will be worth their facial expressions, since they'll all be 6 & under. IM'm fighting my DH tooth and nail to have Mickey & Minnie since they have been with me since the day I was born(sorry not trying to sound like a Bridezilla).

I think it is great when grooms get really involved!

Since we started looking at a DFTW my fiance can't stop talking about the cake, and all the flavours and all the options for decorating! If he had to make decisions on anything else, I think steam might start coming out of his ears!
