That's terrible! I got a FL only license without surrendering my NJ license so I could register a car in FL. No FL license, no registration. And if you live in a state that requires annual inspections, then how do you get the car inspected if you never plan on driving it anywhere other than FL? It's a real catch 22.

That's the reason I got a DL instead of an ID card, as we are planning on buying a car to garage in FL that we'll never drive to NJ.

How did RI find out about your FL license?

I'm going to tell them to make an appt. when they go back (they're here now) and get this I.D. Card. I guess I'll also be waiting on the boards with all you guys for the FL Res. rates to come out for Nov> . Thanks everyone. You've been very helpful.
