calling all flip flop lovers-need opinion

I love flip-flops! I went to WDW in September and I took my Crocs Athens (they are the flip flop style) in black and since black pretty much goes with anything, I wore them A LOT! I also took some Crocs Caymans in butter yellow and a light-brown/tan color. I prefer the Athens!

I only wear flip flops for the entire trip. You will be fine.

Reef flip flops are awesome and sooo comfortable. I wore them everyday when I went to disney. I am a flip flop wearer too. I hate shoes and socks.

I wear my Teva Mush Flips at the parks all the time. They're great. I wasn't sure at first as I am a staunch believer in Birkenstocks, and I've had several experiences with a screaming back at the end of a day in Tevas, but on one particularly soaking I day I wore my Tevas as rain can destroy birks footbeds. They were totally fine and I was comfy all day. Feet were sopping, but it was no biggy...better than wet socks and sneakers!!!

I've got a pair of $3 flip flops that I bought from walmart about 4 years ago...I wore them the ENTIRE trip to disney and my feet were wonderful! No pain! Now I own a pair of croc flip flops and I wore those for a trip we made to Sea World last week, they were even better than my other flops! So Comfy! I highly recommend flip flops...

I've worn several different kinds of flip flops down there (as well as my Crocs) and usually wind up in my Teva Mush for most of the trip. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. My Croc flip flops, Reef flip flops, and Adidas flip flops are also comfortable, but nothing compares to my Teva Mush. Love them !

Big vote here for the Teva Mush. I also love my Crocs (although not for their beauty ), but the Tevas rule, especially in the hot weather. I'll be bringing both on our next trip for sure.

Another vote for Crocs Athens. I have two pair and wore them all over Branson, MO last summer for 2 weeks, and Branson is a very hilly place. Wore them to work until it got too cold to be wearing flip flops. They are the best shoes I've ever owned. I plan to wear them all over Disney next year. I also have a pair of Crocs Mary Janes that I'll probably take, but don't know if I'll wear.

Me too...I have lots!

While on both of our stays at "the world" this year, I wore nothing but flip flops and had no problems.

As far as only wearing broken in flip flops, that will have to be your choice.

Most of mine were new, some never worn until our trips, one pair purchased at the resort as a result of a pair that broke while walking into a store.

I experienced no problems at all with any of them, even wearing the new pair to the parks.

Never was a flip-flop girl until I tried "Reef" ones, the plain, black kind. They are totally comfortable and I have worn them all day at WDW the last 2 trips with no sore feet!

I don't have any advice as I am flip flop addicted. I am not looking forward to wearing my new tennis shoes I bought last month for our Jan trip. But my dh insists I wear them so I don't complain my feet hurt every day. I just love wearing flip flops or any type of sandal or tennis shoe that are backless. I tried on the Crocs and for me I just didn't find the comfy. I should look for the Crocs Athens (they are the flip flop ones right?) and try those. I'd hate to buy them on-line though and then have to send them back if I didn't like them.

I wore the Crocs Athens at Thanksgiving and both my legs and feet hurt. The best flip flops that I've found are from Merrell. At the end of the day,my legs and feet do not bother me at all. I've had these for going on 6 years and I'm getting ready to buy an extra pair in case the style is discontinued

OK, I'm mystified... what are CROCS ???? Maybe they have a different name in the UK? or am i just looking in the wrong shops ?
