I've played Dirty Santa before at a party, but they didn't call it Dirty Santa - they didn't call it anything It was alot of fun!!!!

Yesterday was a big success! I got all the errands run early and had time to go home and do some things around the house before I picked up the food. Some of the parents sent in extra food, so it really felt like a big deal. I got James out after the party and we went and delivered our Angel Tree gifts to church. I did a tin of cookies for Jim to take to the station. I picked the last of the satsumas and lemons and sorted them into baskets give for gifts. Jim even cooked steak, shrimp & pork chops on the grill! That would be in aneffort to use up things in the freezer!

It;s hard to go back to work today! I am on call this weekend, so I hope it's not too busy! A little busy would be good because I could use the extra $$!

So what big plans does everyone have for the weekend?

Good Saturday morning! I am on call this weekend so I am up doing paperwork for an early start. I have 4 patients to see today. I hope to be done early ao I can enjoy the day.

Sarah came home yesterday!

James got a return letter from Santa Claus again! The big guy must really like him!

I have very exciting news from my neck of the woods......
My friend and I got Hannah Montana tickets for our DD's
The girls are going to be so excited, but I can't say anything until well after Christmas, because my friend wants the tickets to be from Santa. Santa already has so much for Stephanie, so I'm going to tell her on the concert day that her dad was able to pull some strings, and get tickets for us to go. It's going to be a lot of fun for these girls to see Miley!!!!!!


Karen - Tell Sarah that I said "welcome home!!" I bet you are so happy to have your whole family togther under one roof I know how much your miss her!!!!

We got about 10 inches of snow at our house Saturday night/Sunday morning, and the girls had a blast playing in it yesterday afternoon. Stephanie stayed outside for over 2 hours, and I finally called her in because it was dark out, and I thought she would be freezing - but she said she wasn't - I must have bundled her up real good



Well, I'm off to get ready for work - I have to go into work early this morning

Last night we went to a town meeting to fight someone trying to connect to our street, so they can put a 5 house subdivision into the forest I talk about. This subdivision could cause so many problems for us residents - flooding being the biggest problem. Luckily the residents were very vocal, including myself, and the town said we'll meet again next month to discuss it, and the developer needs to get more information that we, the residents, will be safe.


My college employee comes to work today!!! Which means I don't need to work until 7pm But unfortunately I can't go home, because I have a Chamber of Commerce meeting at 6:30pm. So my friend Jennifer and I are going to go out to dinner, and then go to this meeting. Even though I can't go home, it's nice to know that I can leave the store for awhile

I get to go home right after work today (7pm), and not go anywhere afterwards What am I going to do with all this extra time In all seriousness, the meeting I went to last night was good, and my friend Jennifer and I went out to dinner beforehand, which was very nice too But I am looking forward to just going home tonight


I also remembered to DVR the Christmas WDW special I can hardly wait to watch it with the kids sometime this weekend.


Poor Katie is stressing out so much about what Santa is bringing her. She wants the AMG Bitty Twins, their bed, and The Dora Kitchen (Dora Kitchen) being the MOST important on her list. Well, Santa is bringing the AMG items, and Kevin and I are giving her the Dora Kitchen, and I know when Santa doesn't bring this kitchen, she's going to be so sad I can't change and give the kitchen from Santa, because Stephanie was with Kevin when he bought it, and she still believes in Santa. I thought about giving Katie her present on Christmas Eve, but I'm not sure if I want to do that because I like giving the girls presents from us on Christmas Day - decisions, decisions!!!

I'm still taking Christmas sales at work, so we are keeping busy there . I will continue to take Christmas sales until we close tomorrow, and than if I have to work on Sunday to get things done, than so be it, I won't mind. I'm feeling so blessed to have this much business, with the store being so young.

Well I am officially back in the land of the living. I have been sick the last few days. I went to work for a half day and came home and took yet another nap. When I woke up I declared I would no longer be ill! Today we will see if it works!

Sandy - I am glad you got the card! That was a Christmas tree at the Coronado Springs. I figured I'd take advantage of everyone being presentable! I am so glad you are having lots of holiday business!

**Did you all stay at The Coronado Springs, I don't remember I've never been in that resort, but I know people that have, and they liked it alot.



Well, this is my last day open before Christmas Eve. I still took a Christmas order yesterday, and I'm curious on how many Christmas orders we take today. I guess 5, Kevin guessed 6, my one employee guessed 3, and we haven't asked the other employee yet. Moneywise, I hope Kevin is right, and timewise, I hope my employee is right - I don't want to work tomorrow. The great news is, I've been having many orders placed for after Christmas, which is awesome, because I know that people aren't using me just for Christmas gifts.

Well we have been busy, busy, busy here! Sarah & I have been tying up loose ends, Emily has been busy socializing & jim & James went hunting.
I did some cleaning today. My sister Tina is fixing dinner tomorrow for a guy I work with (they met at my work Christmas party) and in an effort to make it less stressful, she is going to cook and serve here. I think James and Emi will go to their friends' houses so we can have an adult only dinner.

Today we are celebrating Christmas with Kevin's extended family at my in-laws house. I've got a ton to do before we go there though - fold laundry, change sheets, vaccuumm, clean bathrooms, and etc..... We have to be there at 2pm, and I'm hoping to get most of this done, so I don't have to do any of it tomorrow.

Yes I did, and I was so thrilled about it!!!
Now I have nothing (house cleaning wise) to do today - that's awesome!!!!
I will be busy today though with other things. I need to take Katie to daycare for awhile (I"m hoping she'll take a nap there, where at home she won't - she'd be to excited), and then go to work to give my employees there Christmas bonus and Christmas cookies to eat all day . Than I have to pick up our Christmas pie at Baker's Square, and then come home to set the table. After that I have to pick up our Christmas flower arrangement that our friends make us every year (they should open up a flower shop) and then bring it home. By that time it will be time to go get Katie and then get the girls ready for church, because we have to be there at 3:30pm, because the childrens choir that STephanie is in sings at 4pm. After mass we'll come home with my inlaws to have dinner and open presents. After that it's time for the girls to go to bed, and then Santa can make his arrival. Hopefully his arrival will be early so we can go to bed at a decent time. So that's my day in a nutshell - it'll be great!!!!

We had a great day yesterday!!!!
I got a lot of wonderful gifts!! My favorites were my Nintendo DS, and I got an ipod Nano (both of which I have to figure out what to do with).


Today I"m going to take Katie to daycare, and then go into work for just a couple of minutes this morning. Than this afternoon Kevin, Stephanie, and I are going to see the new National Treasure movie, and then I have to work 5-7 tonight. So it should be a good day today!!!!
