Kathy - Wow, your DD is getting married?!?! That's great and surprising news at the same time. I know you like this young man, and your DD deserves to be happy after everything she went through with the other loser boyfriend. A wedding is very exciting, and I hope everything goes snoothly. Please keep us posted on how things are going, and I wish them nothing but well wishes.

Karen - How's the vacation preparations going? I bet you are getting excited!!! :cool1:

Abby - Bye!!! :wave2: Have a great trip!!! Have so much fun!!!!

FastpitchMickey - Welcome to our fun thread, and welcome to The DIS!!!! It will be fun having Karens niece/nephew (which are you?) around!!!

Well, I gotta run and get Steph up soon.
I'm driving her to school again today :teacher:
It's to cold to have her at the bus stop (It's -2 now)

Have a good day!!!

Good morning!!!

Haley - congratulations on your first post!!!

Abby - :yay: Have a great trip!

Sandy - We are excited!! I have to call my friend today to see if she was able to get the buddy passes for me & Emily!

What is WPASDI? I think I got all of the letters!

I don't remember exactly what it stands for:confused3

I do know it has to do with playing games with other DISers, and I also heard that it can get kinda ugly at times

We got about 7 inches of snow yesterday and Stephanie was in heaven:cloud9: But I didn't let her stay out that long because it was so cold outside. When she came in, her cheeks were so rosey, and they stayed rosey for a long time.

Did I tell you that I am teaching her how to play Monopoly?
We brought it out on Sunday and put it on the dining room table so we could leave and go back to it. Last night was round #2 at this game, and she is kicking my butt!!!!!! She already has 2 houses on each Park Place and Boardwalk. When I landed on one once, I owed her $500:eek: I keep losing money and she keeps getting money. I'll keep you all posted on the Monopoly showdown :thumbsup2

It's still freezing here :cold:
It's -3 as I type this :cold:

Karen - you are at single digits!!!!!
:maleficen :ccat: :simba: :stitch: :donald: :sulley: :tigger: :figment: :goofy: :hmghost: :mickeyjum

I am very excited about the single digits!!:dance3:

I wish we were there already!!! I wonder what Abby is doing today!

We had a funeral yesterday. Jim's best friend's dad died. Jim was very close to this family. His best friend died 6 years ago. I took the day off from work and kept the kids out of school so they could go too. O.G. was old and died very peacefully at home. I just ache for his wife Eloise. They were married 65 years. Jim is back at the firestation today, so he is going to take some comp time and go spend time with her today.

TGIF everyone!!!!!
:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

I'm looking forward to this weekend.
Tomorrow we are going to Disney on Ice, and then Sunday we are going to Margiannos :goodvibes (sp?)(and Italian restaurant) downtown with the in-laws for dinner (it's a joint birthday celebration for my MIL and Kevins (that was in Dec.) ).

Karen - I"m sorry to hear about Jim's best friends dad passing away:guilty: How nice of Jim to go spend time with his wife today :)
**Are you all packed? You have 7 more days my friend!!!!! :woohoo:

Well, I gotta run and get Steph up for school:teacher:
She hates waking up on these cold days :cold:

Have a good day today!!!

Packing? I should be packing? I was thinking that when I get to go stay in the castle, Mickey would just have stuff for us there! :rotfl2: But, maybe I should pack a little something just in case this plan doesn't work!

Thanks Sandy! I can't believe how much there is to do. We're in full "wedding planning mode" already. We've got the church booked, she came up from Charlotte Thursday to look at the hall and she loves it so I have to go Monday to do that paperwork and today I'm going down to Charlotte and we're going shopping for dresses. Whew. So much to do in so little time!

How is Monopoly coming along?? Are you teaching her regular Monopoly or Monopoly Junior??? We love to play Monopoly around here....and can get pretty competitive! For Christmas we got the boys a special edition Monopoy game....Disney!

:grouphug: Can you imagine being married 65 years!? I'm sure she's going to have such a rough time and I'm sure she'll appreciate a visit from Jim.
