Hi Ya'll, need a little help here. My BIL finaly decided to go with us to the food and wine festival in Nov. I cannot fine a deal on deluxe rooms anywhere on site. I tried to get him to do this earlier but did he listen to me noooo. Anyway anybody go anything up their sleve for 11/9-11/12??

Thanks!!!

I have the same issue with my brother, asked him way back when to join us at WDW for NYE, well he kept putting off making a decision and now its pretty much too late. There are no rooms at the INN, actually no rooms at any of the villas, so he is on a waitlist which i hope comes thru but i'm not going to get upset if he cant get a room - hes a big boy who should have made up his mind earlier - we will miss him but maybe next time he'll make up his mind.

So I have nothing up my sleeve but my advice is to try to get him a room at a moderate resort, they are very nice also And if there are no rooms well Its his own fault he should have let you know earlier, DONT let this ruin your trip or make you feel guilty - your'll miss him, would have been fun to have him there, you love him and maybe next year.....it will work out

have a GREAT TRIP -

That's also Super Soap Weekend - from what I've heard the resorts can be full to capacity because of this (plus F&W Festival). I was unsuccessul in booking Swan or Dolphin for that week, - but it was Monday the 5th that was the problem - there were rooms available over the weekend. They offer a AAA discount there as well. I called Starwood direct for the booking, give them a try.

If it were me, I'd get him a room wherever I could even if it's not at a deluxe. Check moderates and even the values. The important thing is that he's there, not what level of accomodations he has.

If he is wanting accomodations above a moderate resort, you can try renting points from a DVC owner and stay at one of the DVC resorts.

We have done this the last four years and have stayed in studio rooms at OKW and SSR for the same price as it would cost us at a moderate resort.

It's also the tail end of "Jersey Week" and Veterans Day weekend.
Sorry - Wish I had a brilliant idea for you.
Hope you find something for him!
