... I really need a FIX! Please let me know how things are during this President's week at the World.

We were very close to joining you there this week, but decided against it to do some "work around the house." Well - that won't happen again because I am dying to be at my second home right now!

Any special events going on at the DVC resorts?

PLEASE FILL ME IN!

Now, back to my day in cold CT. It's only 16 degrees as I type this. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_3_5.gif' border=0></a>

Great suggestion! I could use a Disney fix too!

BTW, 16 degrees ABOVE zero would be a heat wave here! We were still below zero yesterday! It is supposed to warm up to the 30's later this week though.

Come on folks! Let's hear your Presidents week trip reports!

Gee, it's 15 degrees here, but it's sunny and that helps my disposition, the night's sky was crisp and clear, but it would be good to hear from some of the travelers, maybe at the end of the day, or when the kids are taking a nap, they will tell us just how wonderful it's been.

We spent the weekend "spending" points, we don't have enough!

Low 80's, sunny and pleasent here....probably colder up North in Orlando.

Well, my friends checked in to OKW last night (if I can't go someone might as well enjoy it) and told me it was in the 70's. I told them it was 12 here.

LOL! Notice how the only ones replying to this thread are those of us who WISH WE WERE THERE, and not those who are? I assume those who are there are enjoying that wonderful weather and the parks!

My DD is an Entertainment CM. She just told me that the weather is BEAUTIFUL!! I think she is trying to make me jealous.  The laugh's on her though---she's coming home to NJ for three days and arrives Wednesday night. We're expecting snow tomorrow evening. Maybe I'll get the last laugh after all!!:D

a high of 15 here IL. but watch out by thursday we will be sporting shorts and tee-shirts for a high of 45.
i hope the snow melts, and stays in the high 40s and getting warmer day by day like the weather people are saying, lol,lol when have they evr been right..........

yes i wish i was home right now:sunny:

Well, I'm not there now, but we were the first week in February and the weather was beautiful!! We left DE when it was 15 degrees outside and reached a sunny high 70's FL when we arrived. :sunny: The rest of our week remained in the high 70's into the 80's. In fact one day the high was 85 degrees and was a record breaker for Orlando. :sunny: We loved our winter thaw and plan to do it again next year. :)

Get ready for the fix, we checked into BCV on the 12th, the weather started out nice, but we have seen our share of clouds and rain, today was sunny but on the cool side, mid 60's, which to us northerners is a heat wave. Crowds have swelled since last week, hoping they calm down a bit. It is great to be home, just got back from dinner at Whispering Canyon and caught Wishes Fireworks show on the way back to MK. Still have 5 more days to enjoy, then back to reality and start planning the next trip home. Thus far, everything has worked out well, accommodations, transportation and reservations!

We did Mission Space today, outrageous. 30 Minute wait with Fast Pass, standby was 105 minutes. Test Track had extreme wait times as well, but we expect it and take it in stride.

Any questions?
