calling all disney experts...park half day --after 2pm tickets?

Is there such a thing? Where do I get them? Are they only at certain parks? I have been a disney nut for 10 years and have never heard of them yet, another site is discussing them. Now why would I even think of using a park hopper day ticket up when I could get a one day park half day ticket on the day I arrive? Please help!! Thanks!!

I think the only access to these partial day passes is through conventions/conferences booked on property.

How do they know that I am attending or not attending a conference--Do you get the ticket at the resort? or at the park? Thanks

Is it possible that they are talking about the Length of Stay Passes or I think they are now called an Ultimate pass? These passes are good from the time you check in until the day you leave. This way you don't feel that you are wasting a day's pass for just a few hours of use. Maybe someone who has actually used these passes could give you more info.

but the after 2 pm passes were not a very good deal at all! They were over $35 each. You would do much better with a PHP, even if you went after 2 pm because you would get the plusses.
