Hello fellow Dis-ers,

Well, Chelsea finished her steroids (for a while), so Chelseazilla is gone, and sweet Chelsea is back. She's still tired and achy, but hopefully that will subside. We are now waiting for her blood count to rebound so that she can go on to the next yucky month, which we hear often results in such poor immunity that kids have to be hospitalized. I also have to do some chemo injections at home, besides the oral stuff and the spinal taps. Hopefully around Labor Day she'll be through with that round and will be proceeding to long term maintenance.

That part entails monthly spinal taps and chemo injections, as well as oral daily chemo. Arg!

Hi everyone I'm not achy anymore, just tired. Still having tutoring to be ready to go back to school this year. Yesterday Mom and I went back to school clothes shopping. Nothing like shopping to make me feel better hehehe.... We're following Lady Hope's progress, and as we speak are clearing out a spot in my closet for her Seriously, she and Faith have more clothes than me ! We're very excited about getting her this weekend! Woot Woot Thank you guys for all the pixie dust, hugs, and for staying with us

Hello Dlandchick,

I was able to see Lady Hope today and she and Faith were able to go to a baseball game...just wait until you see the pictures...oh how cute Hope looked. She knew that now there was only one day left before she finally gets to meet you. Faith was excited too that she will get to meet Peanutpoohbear as well...

Also, many thanks to the Dis'ers and Vmk'ers who have sent well wishes to Land...it is greatly appreciated.

What an amazing day we had today! It was so much fun meeting you all today...finally! I am so thrilled to say I was involved with the travels of Lady Hope and Faith, and it was a very special moment to see you and Peanut finally get to meet and hold them in person at the party!! Kallie had a wonderful time too, and has not stopped talking about meeting you and your whole family!
Land, you are a very special person, and you have a very special family and lots of VMK and Dis friends who hold you all near and dear to our hearts! Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and we look forward to seeing you get better and stronger and meeting up with you for lots more fun times!!

Hi Land, Jedi_eric and I were so happy to finally meet you today. We had a really great time at Build A Bear. Our two new additions to our family (jedivanilla and mybear) our resting in our room after a fun time in Build A Bear and having a delicious meal at Rain Forest Cafe. Every time we look at them we will think of you and your wonderful family and wish you happy thoughts.

It was so great meeting all of you today and seeing Chelsea's and Peanut's faces when they got to meet Lady Hope and Faith & Pixie Dust. You Zetas and DISers and VMKers will never know how much it has meant to our whole family to watch Hope & Faith's adventures and to read all of your well wishes on this thread.

It is overwhelming that people, most of whom we'd never met would do all of this and continue to keep this thread on the first page for more than 6 months. I tell people about you guys all the time. You have helped keep us going during the worst 6 months imaginable.

This was Chelsea's longest outing since she got sick and we so appreciate all you've done. Lady Hope & Faith are going to be so bored by our humdrum life after the wild times they've been shown!

I second that. I guess we just have to have a bigger party in what we all hope very near future when our doll Land is cancer Free. Hi everyone I'm doing pretty well, just tired from the chemo. We had such a good time meeting you on Sunday, and recieving

Lady Hope and Faith (whose clothes are covering our living room, and we still haven't finished un-packing) They are doing

fine in their new home, but miss all of their new friends they met on their adventures. Last I saw them they were trying on outfits and

looking for chocolate.... Tommorow is my last day of summer school, which makes mom look like this . I wonder why,

when she has such good little angel daughters Thank you all again for all the gifts and well wishes You guys
