Hello fellow Dis-ers,
Well, Chelsea finished her steroids (for a while), so Chelseazilla is gone, and sweet Chelsea is back. She's still tired and achy, but hopefully that will subside. We are now waiting for her blood count to rebound so that she can go on to the next yucky
month, which we hear often results in such poor immunity that kids have to be hospitalized. I also have to do some chemo injections at home, besides the oral stuff and the spinal taps. Hopefully around Labor Day she'll be through with that round and will be proceeding to long term maintenance.
That part entails monthly spinal taps and chemo injections, as well as oral daily chemo. Arg!
Thanks for sticking with us!
