Hi everyone! Wow it's been forever! Just been busy with life and barely grazing into the Dis lately.

How is everyone? We're leaving for Mexico soon, so life is getting crazier! Kids are all doing well, Autumn is growing like crazy and talking up a storm, Gabriel has caught up in everything and actually just may be a bit bigger!! Roman is still deaf in one ear, but we're dealing with it! He sees too many Drs. as it is, that we are all overwhelmed.

Sal and I are doing well and his birthday is tomorrow, so we're going out for Japanese! Yay! I love Teppan style dining!

Today's an early start day
Katie needs to be at daycare by 8am, because she is going to Fair Oaks Farm, and Stephanie needs to be there early too, because she is going on a bowling field trip - they should both have a really fun day!!!!!

I decided to go to work right after I take them, because I do have a lot to do. Plus, I'm leaving at 3pm, so I can go to the doctor. I'm still having a huge problem with headaches, and I need to discuss this with him. It seems like they mainly come after I workout, especially outside. I definitly can't run - I get a screaming headache from that Even my walking is giving me a headache, but not as bad as when I run. I'm so tired of popping pain meds, and I'm getting so tired of working out to be healthy, and I feel worse after I workout, than before I started I have alot of neck problems, and I don't know if that's the root of this I would also like to have an allergy test done, to see if I'm allergic to something. Kevin thinks they will have me do a stress test, to see if I'm having an issue with my blood pressure. I don't care what they do, I just want to get to the root of the problem.

Peter - You don't have the air on If I didn't have the AC on here, the house would be an oven. Good for you though, for not turning it on, and saving some money on your electric bill.

HERSEY - No, they didn't clean up There was so much dust from the sawdust, that I had to clean up more than just the floor. I'm fine with them not doing it, because I would rather do it myself anyway - I was a lot more thorough than they would have been.
**Sounds like you have a good plan for vacation. I sure hope it doesn't rain for you - that would not be good . Luckily, with Alex being older, it wouldn't be to bad to be in the parks in the rain. It still stinks for me, because Katie is still in a stroller, and that's always a pain to keep her dry, and than the stroller gets all wet when we leave it for a ride, or to eat.

piglet - Thanks for letting us know about Dinner Impossible - I love that show!!!

Chloro - Robert Irvine is still making the shows, and I'm not sure if he's signed on for next season. The Food Network definitly took out his so called "accomplishments" out of the beginning of the show. I hope he's still here next season, because I really like him.

DMM - So good to see you!!!! I bet you are very busy - I can't even imagine it. I have had times of feeling overwhelmed with my girls, and I only have 2, and they are 5 years apart. I'm glad to hear you are taking a trip to Mexico - that'll be nice!!!! Have a good, safe trip, and please come visit more often when you get home (I know that's easier said that done). Take care!!!!

Good Friday Morning Everyone!! we have another beautiful day today... i've decided to not even pay attention to the weather reports. it seems lately they are never even close to being right. where are all these storms they've been talking about the past week. I know we've had a few short showers but anywho, I've stopped looking at weather reports!

I am sad the Cubs lost today, I want them to win every game they play, except against the Sox.

Piglet ~ We forgive you! I always want the Sox to win unless they are planning the Cubs! So I understand!

Slo ~ You've never seen a Harry Potter movie? have you ever read one of the books? what about the girls? I highly reccommend them! I'm not a big reader but Harry Potter definitely was an exception. I looked forward to every release by rereading all the ones before it... i do the same with the movies! The movie HP and the half blood prince (book 6) is coming out in November so i'll start rereading the books probably next week or so!

my windows are going in the first week of july. or so it has been estimated.
i didn't think about the sawdust....

for what i am paying for the windows, i will let them do the clean up.
mine will be more than pull out and put it. the house has shifted and the frames are being pulled out also...

Morning! I'm stealing a few here on the porch while the kids play outside! It looks like it's going to rain!!

Yes jewelery is kicking big time on Etsy, I am about to hit 800 sales on the site and I am now represented in over 10 stores worldwide. (Small International boutiques!!) Can you believe my little shop is now International?! haha! I thought that was so cool! I am in the process of finishing up an order of 20 bracelets that I just got the order for last night and need to be finished TOMORROW!?!?! Argg...It's tiring but fun! Thanks for asking!!

Roman is crawling like a menace so even just in the backyard I have to keep an eye on him! haha! I put down one of those giant rubber play mats that go under playground equipment and no matter how big I make it, he crawls right off! hahha!!

I will have to post some photos for you guys too see!!

it showed up right after hers when i relooked at it.

then the dis went down.
kept getting a fatal error message. couldn't bring anything up on any site.

now that the dis is back running, my post was changed and the time was changed on it.

Afternoon guys! Can't believe the whole week has gone by again, time is going too fast!

Have to take our pooch to the vet this afternoon, she's been vomiting lately and not sure what is wrong . She's 13yrs so hopefully it won't be anything too bad.

Bunchkin - glad to year you guys had a great time at MSI, I've heard it is crazy busy on free days but with the cost of everything these days we're going to have to brave one of them. I can't believe how much they get for parking, we are working on a trip to Great America and parking there is $25 .
*How did your DD like her day camp?

Leigh - That soap star sure was lucky that her fax ended up with an honest person, she could have had big problems from that.

slo - so sorry to hear you're not feeling well, it is so hard to exercise when you feel bad. Almost makes you wonder why you do it in the first place doesn't it.

Howdy y'all!!!


It's raining here again!!!
DD is at Girl Scout day camp still. They started at noon today, because tonight is sleepover night for anyone 4th grade and older.
So this rain really stinks!!!!
Yesterday, after going creek wadding, all the girls in her group took off their socks and shoes to rinse them off. DD put hers in a grocery bag so they wouldn't get all her other things wet. Later in the afternoon, before everyone left, someone took her shoes!!!!! No clue who!!! DD was so upset. Luckily, she had a pair of Crocs with her, but sandals are not allowed. Good thing it was the end of the day so it didn't make a difference. Still though, we are out one pair of fairly new Nikes!!!!!! I imagine they were taken by accident and maybe she'll get them back. If not, I cannot imagine the knuckle head parent who doesn't notice their child having shoes that don't belong to them!!!

We go to help set up the tents for the girls in a little while so I guess I'll find out then if her shoes have returned.




slo I have to say that it is my experience that workers of any sort vary rarely clean up after themselves as far as vacuuming is concerned. They will pick up obvious stuff: large debris. But I've never seen or heard of one vacuum!! Even Tony doesn't vacuum after himself!!! But a lot of the time he will use a drop cloth to even avoid a mess needed to be cleaned up.
Glad the new windows went in quickly!!!
Hope the girls had fun on their field trips!!


irish dancer DD is enjoying camp this year, despite having her shoes pilfered!!
We're looking into going to Great America this year too, lots of coupons out there with good deals this year. And I too could not believe their parking prices!!!! Whoa!!!! I haven't been to GA since like 1992!!!!

I thought Kung Fu Panda had a lot of things that an older kid would like. The adults were all laughing so it couldn't have been that immature of a movie!! And things/comments an older kid would get too! Make that skeptic of a kid of yours go see it!!

I'm in need of my fav pens!! It's a pack of 3, I believe that's the right #, pens that are green and say Ft. Wild. on them and have Mickey and the gang. Can't be missed! They are always near the other stuff that is labled with Ft Wilderness on them, i.e clothes, stickers, license plate holder....etc.
They're only a couple bucks....you know I'm good for it!!!

You know what got me about the game?
It was the one Sox fan that was interviewd prior to the game by one of the tv stations. It was while some people were tailgating. The guy was so rude, saying the Cubs fans shouldn't even be there, they didn't belong anywhere near 35th and Shields. What a nut!!

I say we all get along and cheer for whomever.
We're lucky to have one national team in the big city, let alone two!!!

I missed that interview, but I think he is a jerk. It is sad that all it takes is for the handful of rude fans (for any team) to ruin it for the rest.

Dewain and my nephew went to a game a couple of summers ago at the Cell. Mat is a die-hard Cubs fan and he was appalled by how other Cubs fans were acting. He said he almost wanted to take off his jersey so no one would think he was with the idiot causing problems. Then just today I had a Cubs fan tell me that he hoped my kids hated me for wearing a Sox shirt.

I used to only be a Cubs fan, but my folks used to take us to a Sox game almost every week and I quickly became a Sox fan too. There was one year that we went to the "Fan Day" for both teams. The Cubs game was first and the players did not get any closer then maybe 10 feet away. When we went to the Sox game, players were pulling people out of the crowd for group shots. Ron Kittle had his own camera and kept having his teammates take pictures of him with fans. My sister told him that she did not have any film, he said "so what lets take a picture anyways." He told a security person to get our address and sent us a copy of the picture he had on his camera. Ever since that year, I LOVE the Sox.

Do you more than 1 pack? I have put it on my list. I baked a truffle pie, peanut butter pie, cupcakes, brownies and I have to bake little apple and cherry pies yet. This is for my neighbor's son's college guaduation party today.

The cross-town is supposed to be a "friendly" rivalry. There are always going to be people to will try to breed hatred in any venue. I'm not sure what the trill is but there must be something otherwise why would they do it?

I think I slept a total of 1 1/2 last night. I can hardly wait for tuesday morning to get here.

So, I went to the doctor yesterday, and he put me on 2 perscriptions for a month. I'm taking a muscle relaxer to help with my neck, and I'm taking a headache mediciane twice a day to help eliminate the headaches. I'm going to go back in a month to tell him how things are going. He wants me to not work out until Wednesday, so the mediciane can get in my system (he definitly thinks the working out is a headache trigger, but he doesn't want me to stop, because it's good to workout). I had an MRI done 2 years ago for my neck, and he wants to see if the MRI showed results for the brain. If it didn't, than I may go have an MRI done to see if I have any fluid on the brain, or anything else bad. He's not thinking I have an aneurism or brain tumor, but he doesn't want to rule that out either - so we'll see what happens.

Why is it that I always have to have an ongoing saga in my life???? Now it's this headache thing, last year it was my knees (which still bother me today, just not as bad), 2 years ago it was my Raynauds and Ocular Rosacea (which I will have the rest of my life). I'm to young for all these issues - sorta ticks me off!!!!


Last night we went to our town fest, and it was alot of fun. We went with my friend and her DD, and the kids had a blast!!!! The weather was awesome, and mosquitoes were totally under control. We didn't get home until midnight. Tonight my friend and I are going back, but the kids are staying at home with my mom. It'll be fun to go to the fest without the kids - I've never done that before


DG - Stephanie doesn't like Harry Potter, which is why I haven't seen any of them. Someday I"m going to have to rent them, and if she wants to watch it great, and if she doesn't want to watch it, great

DMM - Congratulations on your jewelry business doing so well - that's awesome!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

Mac - Lots of sawdust, so definitly be prepared!!! I'm wishing now that I covered my couch with a sheet, but I didn't think of it until it was to late. I vaccuummed a partial part of it, but I'm going to have to vaccuummed the whole thing soon.

Hi all!
Just got back from WDW/UO/IOA late last night!
Family and I had a great time!
Our digital camera broke on us there , so had to buy disposable cameras at WDW. Will be awhile til I can post pics. Will be a few days til I get around to doing a TR.
Rode the new Simpsons ride at UO and had a blast!
Found the Wishes music CD at a toy store at DTD yest.(the Wishes music that goes along w/ the fireworks)! THe Wishes CD is very hard to find. Can't find it at the Disney store around me. I always loved the Wishes music!

All are exhausted and right now.

Hi All!!


Went to help set up tents at the overnight and while pulling into the forest preserve DD called and said they cancelled it due to possible impending storms... which never happened. But she was glad they still had all the evening activities that were planned. She got home a little after 11pm.
Legs were eaten up by mosquitos!!!!!! BIG time!!!

Her shoes were returned, one of the junior aides took them.
They are sitting in the sink out in the garage because they need to be washed! Man they smell something aweful from that creek wadding they did!

This is a super quick post this morning.

Today is our 4th of July parade, which is always fun!!!
I've got my van in the parade, and my SIL is helping me throw candy. Last year I handed out coupons, but I decided to not to do that this year. Out of 3 parades, I only had 4 coupons redeemed, so that's why I decided to not waste the time and energy doing it.

Before I leave for the parade, I need to go to 8am Mass. I was going to go yesterday (that's when we always go) but it was such a nice day, that I let the kids play in the pool instead. I was going to make Stephanie come with me to Mass this morning, but I decided to let her sleep in, because today is a long day. The girls are in the parade with the FD, and then we walk the fest afterwards, and then we have the fireworks tonight. So, it's a lot going on!!!
