My cousin is a black friday guru- I'm talking spreadsheets, marathon shopping with no sleep; plotting which of her posse goes where in the store; having someone in line at the checkout stand while others are grabbing deals so they don't have to wait in line for an hour to check out and miss the next store that opens, etc. We were just discussing it. According to her, and assuming it is the same in your area, at
Walmart, they will have palettes with the sale merchandise on it. This will be covered with sheets and roped off. People gather all around the rope in advance (how far in advance depends on the item), and then when the hour for the special hits they pull the sheets off and drop the rope at which time people swarm the palette and if there is not enough for everyone waiting, the pushing and shoving start. There was some item last year that was a hot item. She was on one side of the palette and her adult daughter was on the other side. She said when the swarm started she just threw her hands up and stepped back it was so crazy for that item that she wasn't about to get in the mess, but her daughter jumped in low and got one from the bottom of the stack and then some guy tried to grab it out of her hands and engage her in a tug of war. I have to admit that I have been there once- not Black Friday- when they did the palette thing with the new Harry Potter book that came out at midnight and when they undid the palette even though there was a decent sized crowd everyone was polite- of course there were enough books for everyone there though!
Now that said, I can't imagine a $10 gift card with the Keurig would be one of the items that goes crazy like that. In fact they may not even have a palette- you might be able to put a Keurig in your cart earlier and then check out at 6 and get the gift card, but I'm not sure about that.
As far as whether you can get it online. Some deals they put online and some deals they don't. Last year
best buy had some of their in store sales on line and I jumped in and got something online, but you need to be at your computer when the deals start because they sell out fast. I don't know what, if any, of their deals that Wal-mart put on line
